Great helmet
G9 is a great helmet. We bought it for our 7 year old son. Even though it's not the youth version, it still fits well. It is lightweight, comfortable, and easily adjustable. Highly recommend.

Great helmet
This is my second Giro snowboarding helmet and is just as comfortable as the last. Lightweight and protects the head. The helmet doesn't let a lot of heat escape your head, so you can get a little warm if you like long, demanding runs. However, during the lift ride, its really nice not to freeze.

Great fit, very comfortable
Excellent helmet, easy to adjust and very comfortable. Keeps my head warm in all temperatures without having to wear anything under the helmet. Having owned several Giro bicycle helmets I had high expectations and was not disappointed.

Great Helmet
I recently ordered this helmet to replace an old, overweight Burton Red. I have not taken this to the mountain yet, but as with most safety gear, it's really about comfort. If I snowboard into a wall, I'll get back to you about performance.
My overall first impression is great. This is a lightweight, comfortable helmet. I can't make any judgement about how warm it is, but I have no reason to think that it isn't.
Based upon my analysis of other helmets I've tried on in stores, I have no regrets about my purchase. And it looks pretty good, too.

Great Fit
I love the fit of this helmet! It was so easy to adjust and remove the ear pads. I wore the helmet all week snowboarding. I highly recommend this helmet to petite females. Awesome!

g9 helmet
Great fit. Comfortable. Has already saved my melon once. Can't really speak of it's durability, but it appears to be well made. Adjustable to get just the right fit.

Great Helmet
Got one of these for myself and one for my brother. This helmet has the click wheel in the back that allows for much better adjustment. Many of the cheaper models don't have this and don't fit as well.
I got a good deal on them by buying the matte brown instead of black. You can hardly tell the different. Felt much safer skiing through the trees in Vermont.

Good product
The helmet was a good fit and easy to adjust. The helment is light and prvides additional warmth. It is good quality. The helment arrived on time based upon the shipping requested.

Comfort & Value
I tried on every helmet I could find at my local shops. This was the most comfortable -- even more so than the most expensive models. I like the simple, no frills design and the quality of the materials. It is easy to adjust using Giro's sizing dial. There's also a nice removable pad inside which allows one to leave the vents covered on cold days, or open when the weather is warmer.

True to size, accurate advertising, solid purchase
The best thing I like about this helmet is that it has an adjustable headband inside so that if you're in between size like me, you can still keep it snug.

G9 Giro helmet
this is really a great helmet. i decided i needed to get a snowboarding helmet as i am beginning to do more jumps and freestyle tricks and want to stay say on the slopes. this helmet also has a bluetooth headset inserts option which is really cool. i am very happy with my g9 helmet in matte brown!

Giro G9 Helmet
I have owned a Giro Nine helmet since 2002. Recently bought the new 2011 model which has improved fit and comfort. The helmet is light, comfortable, warm, and not bulky at all. Highly recommend it.

Giro G9 helmet
I needed a ski helmet for my larger than normal head (xl), but most helmets just weren't big enough. The Giro G9 was the perfect fit! It is lightweight, well ventilated, and adjustable for a "dialed-in" fit. It is so comfortable for all-day use that I forget I am wearing it.

Helmet fits well! With the adjustments it really conforms to your head and feels like it is a part of you. I wish they had more colors.. good price for the product. Fits better than other more expensive helmets I tired on...the only thing the other helmets had on this one was stylist choices.

Great fit! Lightweight! Ease of wear for an ENTIRE day on the slopes! Good venting so that head does not get hot/sweaty! Roomy enough for a beanie!

Giro helmet
I purchased this helmet for my husband as a Christmas present.
I bought this same helmet for myself last year and enjoyed it skiing in Vermont. Very comfortable and kept my head warm. I made one fall and landed on my back and hit my head on the snow. No problems with the helmet on. I had brain surgery a few years ago so it is of the utmost importance that I keep my head protected so I can continue skiing. The helmet did the job.

Highly Recommended
Comfortable, light and easily adjusted for cold or warm weather use with its vents and removable ear pieces. My G9 saved my head in a sever impact with man made surface. I will buy another 9, or upgrade to the G10.

Great helmet!
Very comfortable and stylish. Fits great and nice that it's adjustable with the super fit system in case you want to wear a face mask underneath on those super cold days.

Excellent deal
For $80 (with 20% Altrec rebate) I have a comfy helmet that looks good. It has an insert that can be taken out to open the vents. I like it!
