Great Helmet!
December 11, 2010
Broke down and got a helmet after getting tons of pressure from friends. I couldn't have picked a better helmet. The Giro Seam helmet is light, fits great and is warm. The adjustability allows you to make sure you get the right fit, and the vent system is great if it's warmer outside.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useDecember 19, 2010
very nice helmet. love the adjustable fit it's great and the vent system work nicely.

This was my first purchase of a helmet. It's wonderful. Keeps me nice and warm on those cold days. Fits about any type of goggle. I'm going to have this for a long time.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: priceGreat new style!

I love the shape and fit of this new style, Seam. It fits very well wnd is super comfortable. The small bill is great in the weather as it offers some protection to the top of your goggles.
This helmet has all the bells and whistles.

This helmet has all the bells and whistles you could want. I have experience with Giro from cycling and have always trusted their products. This is my first helmet I have ever purchased for the slopes. I have not been disapointed. The padded chin strap feels great, the rear dial adjustment is easy to use with gloves on and stays in place, the stack vent works great and the multiple setting on the vents helps keep your head just the right temp. I can't say that I've found anything wrong with it. The only thing I haven't done is crash with it and would be happy to keep it that way. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great helmet.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Costif only it didn't rattle
February 13, 2011
I have worn several styles of helmets from Giro and this is the only one that I have had a problem with. Unfortunately the vent system rattles when you start to go fast or even do something as simple as turn your head quickly. That bothered me so much I ended up returning it. It's not a loud rattle so you wouldn't even hear it if you tend to listen to music while you ride. I did like the way the helmet looked and it was comfortable.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: vent system rattlesDid you recently buy the Giro Seam Helmet? Write a review.
Super comfortable fit!
February 24, 2010
I have a small head, flat in the back ala "Asian head" so most helmets don't fit quite right nor are they comfortable. However, this Giro helmet fits perfectly, with its adjustable height and tightness dial. And it's so comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing a helmet! I also love the vent control: smooth open/close switch on the top of the helmet for airflow as you like it. Totally worth the purchase.
Lightweight, good comfortable fit

Vents easy to open and close. Works well with drop-in speakers.
Awesome Helmet

The seam helmet is great. I've only used it for about a week so far and I cant find anything wrong with it. The vents are a great way to control the temperature and it is amazingly lightweight. The color and design is a great plus.

Great helmet!

I purchased this helmet prior to going on a ski trip to Park City this past week - we covered 4 different resorts in the area; Park City, Alta, Snowbird & Deer Valley in some pretty amazing conditions on very tough trails - and my helmet held up great through some tumbles and falls. It kept me both warm - and did not overheat during warmer days of over 50 degrees. I was always comfortable and felt protected throughout. I would highly recommend thsi to anyone. I am a 28 year old petite female and I wore an adult men's small.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGood fit, light

My first helmet (yeah, late adopter) and I was reluctant but my bro wouldn't take no for an answer. Good fit, light, and compatible with the Motorola bluetooth audio made this the winner that I will actually wear.

A lightwieght helmet with nice lines, plenty of ventilation, and a very comfortable fit. I haven't taken a hit yet, and don't plan to. I'm confident it will cushion the blow. Buy it!

Helmet
January 25, 2011
Lightweight, warm, like wearing a hat. Easily adjusts to get nice fit. Got it on sale at Altrec, about 30 smackers off msrp. Snowboarding, caught heel edge and rearwards body slam whiplash type slam the back of my head into snow a couple of times and this helmet seemed to help absorb some of the impact.
Pros: Ease of use, Great valueGreat Helmet

I purchased this helmet for my husband. He loves it! Very comfortable, fits well and protects his noggin! :) Only drawback he proclaimed was that when the vents are all the way open they rattle, which annoyed him. What seemed to help with this problem was to open them only partway.

I am 180cm and the circumference of my head is 60cm ,size L of giro seam is very fit me , beautiful blue sunset picture is my love, although there is a flaw in front of it but i still like it.
Pros: Great designCool enough!
December 11, 2010
I can't rate it from personal experience. My 16 year old daredevil wears it, that's what matters. Based on that, I have to assume the helmet is comfortable and "cool enough" to wear.
Pros: Great designGreat fitting, stylish helmet with good temp. control
January 21, 2010
The Giro Seam helmet fits perfectly, just measure your head with a tape measure and order the appropriate size. Fine tune the fit with the internal height adjustment and tightness dial. The abbreviated brim provides a modest amount of glare protection and doesn't inhibit resting your goggles on your forehead. The only downside is the matte black finish scratches pretty easily.
Nice Helmet

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Fit is exceptional and the look is great. She loves the easy to use vent system and the adjustable fit. This is a great helmet.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of usebest helmet ever purchased

I bought this helmet for myself a year ago and couldn't believe the comfort, fit and how stylish it was. This year I bought it for my daughter and she just loves how light it is and how durable it was. We do a lot of tree skiing and need to know we have the best protection there is......just in case!!! I highly recommend this helmet!

Very Comfortable, good design, I had a giro hemet before, and this is a better version because I want the feature on air vent, In the box, it also include a bag for the hemet, and a manual, which is very helpful. While I open the box, I just love it. it looks quite good, and light weight.

Good Helmet
January 21, 2013
So far the helmet has met my expectations. It is lightweight and fits my noggin really well. The rear adjustment wheel makes everything nice and snug. Plus it looks great! The only negative is that I've found it isn't exactly comfortable with the optional TuneUps installed. They press against my ears. I think with some fiddling I can reduce the discomfort. It also takes some ingenuity to run the cords inside the helmet. Adding the TuneUps definitely isn't a simple task! For what it's worth, I have a size medium helmet.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: tuneups uncomfortableBest looking helmet out there!

The best thing about this helmet is that it is low profile...you don't look like Gazoo. It's adjustable to fit snug. It's also vented to control the temp and reduce the fogging of goggles.
