Helmet fits great. Adjustable sizing allows for a snug fit, and the easy access vent control is nice on the hill. Expensive but overall a great helmet!

I have had this helmet for 2 years now. It is very comfortable and keeps my head insulated from the blustery cold and from the heat of sunny Spring days. Last Spring, I fell at high speed and hit a boulder, head-first, with this helmet on. The rest of me was hurting, but my head was fine. This helmet did its job.

My first helmet for skiing, I was worried that my head would be cold without a hat. I wore just the helmet and a windproof balaclava which kept my head and ears warm all day (0-10F and ~10mph winds). I did not try the ventilation switch.

Nice helmet. Very easy to fit. My Oakley O frame goggles fit well without any gap at the top. The ventilation works very well also.

The design of this helmet look GOOD! Very comfortable and keeps your head warm while riding. It's also lightweight unlike some of the other helmets I have tried on. Highly recommended!

The helmet fit very well. A little cool around the ears on a cold windy day - other wise nice and warm. Like the color and style. The customer service staff was very helpful.

Easy adjustments to achieve a perfect fit. Lower profile and light weight make the G10 a helmet you'll look forward to wearing day after day. No more excuses for skiing unprotected. I extensively researched helmets and tried on a good number of them, including the G9, Fuse, Omen, Smith and Protec models. This model had by far the best fit (low profile) and easiest adjustment system. I bought one with the Motorola wireless system and it works AWESOME!! I was simply hoping for respectable music quality, but got much more. No issues with BT connectivity and the ability to switch to phone from music via the earpieces while on the slopes or the chair was fantastic. Microphone worked fine for outgoing calls as well! I would HIGHLY recommend this helmet.

I have Scott goggles, and it fits around the helmet perfectly. That was one of my concerns when getting a helmet. Other than that, this helmet is nothing fancy except the vents to keep your dome cool. I'm 5'5 135 lbs. The XS was a good fit.

Got this helmet for my wife, and she loves it. We got it when it was the Deal of the day. Got the stereo ear pad's that REI was clearing out for $7, and we're talking a awesome combo for less that $50. Fit and finish are great. It's got the lever on top to adjust the airflow. As others have stated before, it is the 06 model and the only difference is the adjustable headband (not included on this one.) In any case, the helmet fits her fine. It's for the strap in the back to hold her goggles in place... The only problem is there is a small gap in between her helmet and goggles. It's probably more of a result of the goggles she was using. The Oakley Stockholm's have a tiny gap in the center vs the Spy Comet's which had a larger gap.

This is my first helmet purchase and I have to admit, I was nervous about how it would fit and feel. I looked at the size chart for the G10, measured my noggin and ordered! It is lightweight, comfortable and fits great! It feels no different than wearing a hat. I'd highly recommend it!

After 30+ years of skiing I realized that I have been flirting with disaster not wearing a brain bucket. I looked at and tried out a bunch and found that the G10 was lightweight, comfortable, cool on the warm days and warm on the not so warm days and provided me with the protection needed.

the G10 helmet is so light, you tend to forget you even have it on. the vent system works very well and prevents your head from overheating ... the removable ear-liners are a nice plus.

I ordered a size small which fits my 54.6cm head perfectly. I can't even tell that I have a helmet on. Very well built helmet. The newer model does have an adjustable headband, which some may like. Great price on an older model though. Just as warm as any hat in my experience.

I just bought this helmet and used it for the first time 2 weeks ago. By far, the most comfortable helmet of all the one's I tried (and I tried on a bunch). Perfect fit, good looks. Haven't tried, or needed to, yet - but the fact that the earpads are removable is a nice extra benefit.

Very comfortable. I love the vents which allow the wearer to open for air or close when cold. I just wish I had splurged for the bluetooth model so I could use my Ipod and cell phone with it!

I ski professionally as a mountain guide, and LOVE this helmet. Giro has made great improvements in fit with the new adjusting system. I love the quick vent openings, so I don't get overheated. Great visibility, and good fit with goggles which stay secure. I like the fact that this helmet fits a bit lower profile than the Fuse, which I had previously. I don't feel like I look so much like a "bobble head." I went with the more feminine look of the women's model, with just a little pink, and a nice pinkish, pearly sheen. I liked the flat white, too, which may be more versatile. But, I have to admit, it's nice to look like a girl when you're skiing with all the guys.

I wasn't too sure about buying a helmet online before I tried it on. This helmet conformed very well and kept me very warm. It was really a great buy.

I had been using a solid helmet for 8 years and in the warm weather it was simply too hot. The G10 is comfortable for my bald skull but at 12 degree F or cooler it is too cool even with the vents closed. A balaclava with a thin skull cap on it is my solution.

I just used this helmet in below zero temperatures and the helmet performed great. I like the quick ability to open the vents. In buying the helmet I was misled that it was a new model with the adjustable headband, which I would have prefered. Be careful of the sizing as it has changed with the newer models.

A friend loaned me this helmet last season, since I'd never worn a helmet and wasn't sure what kind to get. It fit perfectly and I loved how warm I stayed, while having great ventilation at the same time! So this season I ordered one for myself from Altrec and I ride so much better now, with the security of knowing I'm safe from whacking my head, thanks to this helmet! I also love that I can add the earpieces into the helmet, which is great for my mobile phone which also doubles as an mp3 player. So I can listen to music and take important calls, while on the slopes!

Up 'till this point, I hadn't bought in to the helmet craze that has been sweeping the slopes. I was too manly for a helmet. However, after seeing a friend take a horific fall in a Breckenridge glade, I decided it was time to get one. I tried on several brands and models and decided on the G10. I found it to be an excellent blend of price, features and comfort. After skiing for 2 days in Beaver Creek, I am a huge fan of the G10. The fit was excellent. So good that I forget I was wearing a helmet. It feels just like a hat and just as warm. We skied in heavy snow and the ability to change venting with the flick of a button was nice. Heavy wind and snow, close the vents. No snow, skiing hard, sweating, open the vents. Bottom line, I am now a fan of skiing helmets and won't hit the slopes again without my G10.
