Swany X-Change II Glove:
Excellent for skiing, snowshoeing or just getting around the coolest winter spots in your neighborhood, Swany's X-Change II Gloves offer many of the same features found in their tanned leather X-Cell, but wraps up the Tri-Plex insulation with an easy-moving Dryshell nylon fabric exterior. Swany's Tri-plex insulation feature three different synthetic Primaloft weights, a Comformax Radiant Shield for heat reflection, and a soft and wicking Dynatherm lining for wicking moisture away from your skin. The Primaloft insulation is thickest on back of the hand, thinner along the palm and has a special stretch design along the glove sidewalls and those forchettes (that's the spaces along the sides of your fingers). We like the waterproof zipper on the heat pocket on the back of the glove, although you might find it easier to insert the chemical heater pouch while your gloves are off your hands (don't laugh--we've seen this attempted on the slopes). The X-Change has DuraGrip reinforcements along the palm for extra durability, especially if you're riding up T-bars on the back glacier. If you're wondering how well you would look in a winter leather, check out the similar features in Swany's X-Cell gloves.
