Description
The high desert landscape of western Colorado calls for the lightweight warmth of the GoLite Demaree Canyon 800 Jacket for men. It takes up a small amount of pack space for sunny ultra light hiking during the day, and keeps you warm when temperatures drop at night. Weighing under a pound, this down sweater has a water-resistant Pertex shell and is stuffed with extremely compressible, high loft 800-fill down. Zippered hand pockets keep small essentials secure as you’re fast-packing back down the canyon to camp after dark, and a drawcord at the hem seals out chilly breezes as you sit cross-legged next to your alcohol stove, cooking up a big pot of southwest-inspired couscous. Perfect as a midlayer under a waterproof shell jacket in the winter or as an emergency puffy at a cold belay station, the GoLite Men's Demaree Canyon 800 Fill Down Jacket stuffs into the included stuff sack so you’ll always have it in your pack in case of an unplanned bivy.

Nice Jacket but...

Just got this for winter. It fits pretty well and is very warm. The big issue I have with it is the durability. I wore it maybe twice and threads are already coming loose. I have even started being hard on it yet! For the cost I will expected it to be alot better.

Awsome coat but runs small. I reordered 12/26/11! Design is different. I bought for my son, he wanted the 800 fill for a "dress" ccoat here in Alaska. He was disappointed as the large was too small. He usually wears a M or L. But I reordered the same coat in XL, as he really loved the coat!

Fitted Tops: GoLite Baselayers are 'Fitted' garments - Fitted tops will be snug to the body but are not 'skin tight'. Fitted tops are generally not intended to be worn over other garments.
Fitted Bottoms: Fitted bottoms will be snug to the body, but are not 'skin tight'. This fit is generally used in baselayer bottoms and is intended to be worn under Semi-Fitted or Relaxed bottoms.
Semi-Fitted Tops: Semi-Fitted tops will contour to the body without being tight. Semi-Fitted tops will fit comfortably over Fitted tops such as baselayers.
Semi-Fitted Bottoms: Used primarily on our high aerobic performance bottoms such as running pants, Semi-Fitted bottoms will contour to the body without being tight. Semi-Fitted bottoms will fit comfortably over Fitted bottoms.
Relaxed Tops: Relaxed tops will drape over the body, but are not baggy. Relaxed tops fit comfortably over Fitted and Semi-Fitted tops.
Regular Bottoms: Regular bottoms offer a little extra room in the seat and upper leg for ease of movement. Regular fit is generally use in our hiking and travel bottoms.
Semi-Fitted Outerwear: Used primarily on our high aerobic performance outerwear pieces, Semi-Fitted outerwear contours to the body and will fit comfortably over both Fitted and Semi-Fitted tops.
Relaxed Outerwear Tops: Our most common fit for outerwear, a Relaxed outerwear garment drapes over the body, but is not baggy. Relaxed outerwear fits comfortably over Fitted, Semi-Fitted, and Relaxed tops.
Relaxed Outerwear Bottoms: Relaxed fit is our most generous fit for bottoms and is generally reserved for outerwear. Garments using Relaxed fit offer ample wearing ease from the seat to the ankle and are intended to fit over other pants.
