Good all around shoes.

The Golite Lime Lite shoes are well made and comfortable. The fit is customizable by the included insole inserts and lace to toe construction. After a few weeks of wear I can completely recommend these shoes as comfortable knockabouts, travel shoes and light hiking shoes.

Very lightweight and comfortable day hiking shoe. I particularly like the soles which provide excellent traction and are flexible right out of the box. Really noticed the traction of the soles when scrambling up a gravel approach. The soles are also quiet when walking on tile or concrete. There is no break in required for these shoes and they are attractive enough that I have been wearing them on business trips. The only so called negative I is that the color I ordered is cocoa which on the internet looks tan. In reality the shoes are brown which does not distract from being a good shoe.

I must admit I bought this shoe because they where on sale. But to my surprise they are a great part of shoes. Lite weight, very comfortable, great fit... Everyone I know has asked me about them. New shoes? Where did you get them?? You know the answer... : )

I'm very happy with these shoes so far. I have worn them on two short 3-4 mile hikes. They have performed well in dirt, sand, and rocks. Although not really designed for climbing, the rubber is also somewhat sticky which helps on rocky surfaces. I have always hiked in running shoes, but am planning a long hike with a heavy pack and wanted something that could offer more stability and so far the Lime Lites have not disappointed. I almost always wear a 10.5 and the Lime lite 10.5 fit perfectly. Although comfortable right out of the box, they did give me a heel blister, but this seems to happen frequently with my new shoes so I won't blame this on the Lime Lites. So far this shoe seems to offer most of the support and stability of a boot without the weight. The ochre color is actually more buckskin brown and not as yellow/orange as it appears in the pictures on this site.
