Golite Winter Lite boots
September 11, 2011
I read thought many reviews before finally made my decision on purchasing this boot. They are very comfortable right out the box, did not require any breaking in. Bought them in winter time and they were warm and provided great trackion. I took the advise from others and ordered 1/2 size smaller than my actual size and fitted perfectly. I would recommend this to anybody that wants a light and waterproof boot for the city.
These boots rock!

I ordered these boots assuming they would ship from Oregon. Although they didn't and they arrived later than expected they made it in time for my cruise vacation. I needed a boot that could scramble up rocks and across beaches, yet looked good with khakis for a nice dinner. They fit the bill so well, I left my dress shoes at home and wore these with slacks and a jacket. Great boot overall with many uses. I wear a 10.5 in some shoes and 11 in others. I chose 10.5 for this boot because I've had similar boots and they stretch a little. These are nice and snug now, but feel good.
Pros: great versatility, solid footing and grip, high qualityFebruary 14, 2011
Handy pair of winter boots. Warm and sturdy. Easy to slip on and off. Leather looks nice. They tend to run large - be prepared to wear a hefty pair of socks.
Pros: stylishStylish, rugged and weatherproof !

These GoLite black full grain men's winter boots fit, feel and look great. They are dressy enough to walk into most good restaurants, they grip the pavement very well, their treads are not too close together so snow does not build up in between the treads like on many other winter boots, they are warm enough that I can wear them with dress socks instead of heavy winter socks, and they are truly light enough so that I have full mobility and I do not feel weighed-down like I do with traditional lace-up heavy winter boots. Their tread design actually gives me some spring in my step, and to the naked eye, they look like a pair of dressy slip-ons. They rinse-off easily, and I use a toothbrush to keep the treads clean - just like a baseball player keeping his cleats clean. GoLite finally found the right balance between style and functionality for fall/winter boots for City and suburban living.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueWinter Lite is definitely winter proof!

So I got these from Altrec because I saw bunch of my buddies that I will be traveling with to Alaska wearing these GoLites. I have used GoLite's camping gears and backpacks before and found them to be definitely worth the price. These boots are more catered to casual users like me with the same hardcore stuff like waterproof leathers, nice form altering soles, really stable rugs, grip stick rubber, etc etc. Nice thing is, all these "technologies" on their shoes actually do what they say and it works really well. Bottom line is, I have been wearing these for about 3 months now and they are wicked nice. Really comfortable, unbelievably warm, and 100% waterproof. I can be in a foot of snow and my feet were still dry. I just ordered couple of their other shoes too for more performance-driven uses and I am psyched!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
