Haven't used floored tents in 10 years

This was my first floorless tent and I have since purchased one made by Mountain Hardwear. I have the nest for this as well. Excellent weight and simplicity. No spill or dirt worries. Only issue....not a 3 person tent.

whoever says this tent is bad does not understand light camping

This tent rules. You can even leave the pole at home and just tie a rope to the top and hang it from a tree. The nest is okay but overkill unless you are going somewhere full of bugs. There is no floor on this model, so you either have to put plastic down or buy the floor, but that is the beauty of this design. minimal if you worry about weight but you can add as much comfort as you want.

I have one. You must seam seal the seams prior to use. It is light, goes up quickly and very watertight. I love it.

Some what difficult to erect. I liked the weight of the tent. Either unit by themselves might work, as I experimented with both the tent and nest separately. The problem occured when I married the two together, it was nothing short of being caught in a rain storm.In a word this tent is horrible. Shangri-la not !
