Great dress for travel and general wear
November 05, 2011
What's not to love? This dress is lightweight, easy to care for, and flattering on most body types. It can be worn alone, or with a fitted t underneath in cooler weather. It packs small and sheds wrinkles, is machine wash/dry and you get two colors for one dress. It can be dressed up or down. I have the black/grey version, and if I could only own one dress, this might be it. I suspect under hard use conditions the fabric could snag. I am 5'6" 125 pounds and the small fits nicely.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useDressy and sporty!

I just received this dress in the mail and I love love love it! I ordered it in a medium (I'm usually on the cusp between small and medium so I decided to err up) and it's a tiny bit too big - but it still looks great. Since I plan to wear it on a trip to Costa Rica, I'd rather have it a little big with breathing room than too tight (and sticky in the humidity.) The dress is gorgeous and very lightweight (I was expecting it to be really heavy material.) It looks fantastic on both sides. The little ruching at the cleavage is a nice touch that makes it a little dressier than your average sporty dress. I plan to both hike/hang out in this, and use it as my going out dress while on vacation. I can't wait to wear it!
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value, very versatileOctober 06, 2011
This is a great dress! I just love the material, I could wear it every day if I could. I am 5'8'' and 150lbs. I bought the large but I could have easily bought and fit into the medium. I will keep this one but I'm ordering a med in a different color. I wore this dress today as a bathing suit cover-up, but my friends said I should save it and wear it out on the town. So versatile. I highly recommend this dress. The only down fall is that I wish it came in more colors!!!
Pros: Ease of use, Great valueGreat casual dress!

After wearing my first Cayambe dress one time, I ordered 2 more in different colors! This is a very comfortable and flattering dress that can be worn as a cover-up on the beach or dressed up with accessories for dinner out. I'm a 5'4" full-figure woman and love how the cut flatters my figure. I get SO many complitments whenever I wear these dresses. The reversable feature is great for travel, however the softer colors (pink/turquiose) are less forgiving than the darker colors (in terms of showing bumps and bulges: ). One of my dresses had the stitching come loose in the bodice...that's my only problem with this great dress.
Great travel/camping dress
July 14, 2011
I am 5' tall 110 lbs. and I ordered the XS and It fits great. The fabric Is so light and airy and lays softly against the skin. I got this dress for a trip to South America because I wanted to pack light and have options so the reversible aspect was a big bonus. I wore it almost everyday! Now I won't travel without it and often pack it on backpacking trips because it takes up virtually no room, dries quickly and is cute to boot! I just may have to order another.
Pros: PerformanceNot as pictured
July 06, 2011
I just received this dress and when I took it out of the wrapper I realized that it does NOT have the coordinating stitching under the chest as it is shown in the pic. I bought the dusty pink/brown and that was one of the things I had really liked about it. The material wasn't as thick as I thought it would be either. Other than that, it is a very cute dress and I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it. It is true to fit but as others have mentioned it does show panty lines because the material is quite thin and is a little clingy. Not a big deal to me but wanted to mention it for others reading this.
Pros: Ease of useAmazing

Ive been eying this dress for a couple of months and finally purchased it. Im 52, 120 lbs and ordered a small in black/jade. I hesitated with the jade, but it actually was not as bright as the picture. Im happy with the jade against my tan skin. The dress hugs the body and fall right below the knees. Dress may easily be dressed up or down. I can see myself wearing this to weddings. Very thin fabric, but exactly perfect for traveling light. If people didnt judge, I would wear this everyday.
I love this dress

this dress is lovely. It is a very light material and reversible. I like the material and how it crunches up in my back and the wrinkles shake right out.
Pros: Ease of use, prettylove these dresses!
February 14, 2011
I bought one in black/granite (because the black/beet wasn't available in my size) and one in dusty rose/walnut, for an upcoming trip to St Croix. I am 5'2" and 115, ordered the small - they fit perfectly - not too clingy, very feminine and flattering and even hide my tummy. I especially like the versatility, you can easily dress up or down or throw on a little sweater if you want a little more coverage. Can't wait to go dancing in these, and am planning to buy a third in the blue/pear combo!
nice but a bit clingy
February 04, 2011
I think I will eventually really like this dress, but the medium size I ordered is a bit small, or maybe a bit clingy from the waist up, for me. I'm returning it for a large, instead. I'm 5 ft 9 and 150 lbs with an athletic build and usually wear either a medium or a large. This time, I chose wrong and should have ordered the larger size. So, if you're one of those people who are on the cusp between two sizes, order the larger of the two sizes unless you want the bodice pretty clingy. That said, I like the cut and style enough that I'm willing to go through the effort of returning and re-ordering the next size up. Also, the material has some stretch to it. It is basically made to be reversible by sewing two distinct layers together. They are not sewn together at the lower hem, so the potential exists, if you care to take it to a seamstress or are handy yourself, to create semi-invisible pockets on the side-seams of each layer within the skirt part, with the pockets actually occupying the space in between the two layers so the dress is still reversible, and you can have a spot to hold a bit of money and a room key.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useGreat travel dress

I admit that I have not traveled with it. However, the fit is very nice and the reversibility is a nice feature. It also seems to pack well. ( I have had mine crammed in a case and when I took it out, the material was still in good condition.) The style is classic and could potentially be worn to many occasions. Because of the material, it does have a slight sheen, but isn't blindingly synthetic as some other dresses.
FLowing flowing and more flowing...
December 04, 2010
Dressy, classy, and playful. A better way to describe versitility. Lovely lines. Bodice detail is flattering, hem is playful - yet not to girly girl. Soft, drapes well...easy to pack, easy to reverse.A little generous on the arm holes sizing.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useSo Flattering, but,...

I love this dress! It is so flattering and well made. I am tiny on top and wider in the hips; of all the dresses I bought this summer this fits the best. My only, huge, complaint is that it does not have the contrast stitching shown in the photo. I'd buy two next season if they add it. Please!!!
An Exceptional Wardrobe Addition!

I bought the beet/black dress and loved it from the first time I tried it on. Wore it to work and a happy hour event yesterday. Lots of compliments and it held up in 90+ degrees.
My favorite all-around dress!
August 15, 2010
I initially ordered this in the rose/walnut and loved the dress so much I also ordered the black/beet and black/grey ones as well! I cannot endorse this dress enough! It is sexy, lightweight, comfortable, and versatile, especially the black combo. I wore the black/beet dress to a Happy Hour event (black side) and flipped it over to the beet side at a bar afterwards, just to play a prank on my guy friends. They looked puzzled when they saw the new color and thought I had a "spare" dress in my purse! The looks on their faces were priceless! =) Make sure to order according to your chest size. The skirt portion will be flowy, regardless.
Comfortable, flattering, doesn't wrinkle!

When I first felt the dress I was surprised by how thin and lightweight it was and well, I had some doubts. But after putting it on, I wish GoLite would make more color combinations for this dress! The material is very comfortable and so light that it feels like lingerie, though it's not! I love the cut of the dress, especially the shirring in the chest area. Plus the dress is very flowy and drapes nicely from the body. Very feminine. My favorite multi-functional dress! I'm a 35D and 5' and the size M fit nicely.
Fantastic!
July 09, 2010
Love the dress, it looked wrinkled in the bag, but I shook it out and it looked great. Perfect for travel! I'm just not sure which color I like best, they are both great!
Great quality!

Very nice quality, beet color is pretty. Unfortunately it wasn't the dress for me. Perfect for a toned body!
Great travel dress!
April 12, 2010
This dress is perfect for travel because it is two dresses in one and saves space, plus it doesn't wrinkle! The material is super soft and flows away from the body nicely.
Cute Dress
