A great investment
July 18, 2013

I use this mount primarily on a pole. A good pole mount can be quite expensive and this allows you to put the GoPro on any pole. I use a broom handle with foam around the handle which makes the GoPro float as well. The one bad thing is the screws (that tighten it to the pole) are seated in plastic, not metal. If the mount is tightened too much they will simply stretch the plastic and spin without actually tightening anymore. The only way to fix this is to not tighten it as much... Even with this, I have never lost the GoPro, it has never twisted or moved on the pole and it is still my favorite and most used mount. If the tightening method was improved, I would rate 5 stars all around. The only other GoPro accessory that I use a lot is the LCD Touch Backpack. It helps a TON getting the camera angles right and allows you to watch and delete (a surprisingly useful feature) unwanted clips/pictures. It is well worth the money.

Pros: Ease of use, versatile, Cons: Bad design
