solid stuff!
great re-waterproofing system. allowed me to not buy a new rain coat for a while longer and is prolonging the life of my newer rain gear. the UV spray-on product works well too
Better than Nikwax
recently tried refurbishing two old raincoats. Nikwax on a Patagonia coat (their recommendation) and Granger's on a Marmot coat (again the manufacturer's recommendation. The Granger's worked a bit better, water beading much more convincingly than it did on the Nikwax treated coat.
Awesome
This product fully restored the jacket that I ruined with regular detergent and softener. I highly reccommend this product.

Cleaner -- would pass and wash in DWR restorer works
As far as I know, normal clothes detergent will work just as well on all except camo that need detergents without brighteners. In fact a Gore's phone line said they didn't know any advantage in using "special detergent for gore-tex."
The DWR restorer worked very well on tight weaved synthetics (>9 weaves per sq. mm), even non-gore-tex fabrics. On less tight weaved (4 cross per mm on PE/PA blend fabric gore-tex), the DWR restorer helped but fabrics still wetted-out with lots of water. The washin DWR restore was extended by soaking into only the outsurface instead of a complete soak of inner and outter surfaces. The tight weave didn't need ironing, but ironing did help on the coarser weaved fabric.
