Excellent Lightweight Pack Protection

I am constantly looking for ways to lighten my pack load and where many UL hikers and backpackers use liner bags to protect the contens of their packs I prefer protection for the entire pack. With very few really lightweight options The Could Cover tops my list as the best protection for the weight. It is light of course adn fits into the palm of your hand and hardly noticeable stashed in your pack. It provides excellent protection when the skies open up and keeps the entire pack body dry. It is a little less durable than the heavier pack covers but the weight savings is well worth the trade off.
