Light, functional, and comfortable
March 03, 2011
This backpack barely weighs one pound. Given its shape and the padded strings, it is comfortable to wear for women, especially if they have a feminine stature. Unlike so many other womens' daypacks on the market, this one does not look like a suitcase tied to your back and likely to crush you. It is too early to tell how long it will last, but the materials and the seams make a decent, solid impression.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, low weight, wear comfortSolid Pack

The construction of this pack is solid. The back is well paded. The side pocket will fit a 1L Nalgene bottle, but is tight. The main pocket has 3 smaller pockets with one that has velcro closure and 2 small hooks for keys etc. Outer pocket has mesh pocket inside with zipper closure and one other small pocket. Should work well for day hikes.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueGreat for hiking!

Got this for my wife. We took it for a day's hike in the hills; she likes how light it was, as well as having enough room to tuck in a hard shell, fleece jacket, and other stuff and still having plenty of room to store more. Actually having that extra room doesn't make the pack look "round and fat" and make people wonder how many days these guys are going to stay up in the hill country, but when you need the extra room, it's there. The pack is divided into two large compartments with pockets on the inside to to organize your stuff (which isn't shown in the pictures), and have quick access to them. We bought the trillium color; my wife especially likes the touch of pink which isn't too much to make you look too girly. Would recommend for someone who is looking for a feature-rich backpack but doesn't want the hardcore-climber kind of look.
