Reduce water loss on the trail with this comfortable and fully vented Z55 from Gregory. It's designed with Gregory's new lightweight Jet Stream suspension system, a perforated framesheet covered with breathable Aerotech mesh to enhance the airflow across your back. While a few "vented" backpacks designed by other companies compromise padded comfort to create air pockets between you and the pack, the Z55 keeps everything comfortably in balance with extra padded protection along the scapula and lumbar pads. Gregory's Auto-Fit harness system lets you dial in the appropriate fit through the shoulder slope and angle without compromising load transfer. The breathable Aerotech mesh along all contact zones helps reduce body heat, keeping you comfortable throughout your journey. Even with the extra padding, the Z55 is exceptionally light and offers excellent load capacity for day hikes and summer overnight backpacking trips. The Z55 features top and side access to the main compartment so you can grab snacks near the bottom of your pack without digging everything out at a trail stop. Of course, if you remember to put the gels and energy bars in the compact pockets in the waist belt before you go, you'll always have access to your treats before everyone else in your party.
