Excellent choice

I am impressed by the quality of these crampons, after looking at many others in local stores. The rubber/plastic boot enclosures seem very durable. With 12 points, the grip is excellent on steep slopes, and seems almost as good as another pair of clamp-on (rather than strap-on) G12's that I use for ice climbing. But most of all I was happy with how well they fit my wife's leather Asolo hiking boots, size 9. Almost perfect - better than I would have reasonably expected. The rubber anti-snowball-clog attachments on the bottom are the best I have yet seen.
