5 out of 5

I bought an entire case of 30 of these things. They come wrapped in plastic and by tearing open the plastic they are activated when exposed to the atmosphere. Inside a breathable but rather secure packet covering is a dry mixture of redish iron dust plus other chemicals. The size is not really overly large but rather nicely sized to the hand. Initiailly I was disapointed and thought it would be a fizzle as it was only slightly warm after 15 minutes. But the warmth increased somewhat and stayed on and on. At no time was it ever hot to the touch. It was still warm after 28 hours. The two packets of the 30 that I tried performed the same: Never hot but slight to medium warm for a really long time. Best used in a confined space like a pocket or a boot to concentrate the warmth.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, will not burn skin
