I have had this jacket since Feb and I can't say enough about the comfort and style. The jacket has deep pockets and a concealed hood in the collar that is great when you're not sure if it will rain and you don't want to carry an umbrella. The collar is also covered with a very comfortable cloth that keeps your neck warm on windy days. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Great Rain Jacket
This jacket provides complete rain and water protection that surpasses other lower-end models. It breaths well. It is sturdy enough to hold up to 2 years of steady wear with no weardown. I bought the Dublin pants as well and can go out in a rainstorm and remain dry. It is a shell and does require base layering for warmth. The Helly Hansen brand is worth the extra price, both from a styling and functionality standpoint.

For the price very good rain jacket. It keeps the water out, however it does not offer any insulation. It is just a simple and reliable rain jacket, period.

Helly Hansen Dublin
Wonderful coat. I repurchased after my first coat was stolen, felt I could not live without it in rainy Seattle. Coat is a bit big, but perfect for sweater or light coat under coat.
Great proctection and durable.

Stylish and practical
I really liked the way it looked on the website and wasn't disappointed when I put it on. One of the reviews I read is that it was a bit stiff and made noise, but I didn't think so even for a wind/rain jacket, as I suspected it may have been. Very airy and comfortable. I liked the "stowaway" hood, easy to hide within the collar.

Great Jacket.
Fit is stylish and this jacket represents great value. It is the ultimate all around windbreaker. It will not keep you totally dry in a total downpour, but no problem with rainy days. The stitching on the seams will begin to show wear or fray after two years. Arcteryx and Patagonia shells are superior in function but lack the sporty appearance, room in the shoulders & armpits, and style of the Helly Dublin.

Excellent
I live in Chile and after the 8.8 earthquake i decided to ride my bike to go to work, because of traffic. I needed a lightweight jacket that i can have always on my backpack, useful for all weathers, specially rainy days.

A bit noisy
I was looking for an everyday jacket, not necessarily waterproof. This one looks very functional. It's roomy and the color is nice. But, as with all Gore Tex, the price you pay is a stiff, crinkly and noisy fabric. Still, overall, this was the best among the the six I purchased online, and the one I'll keep.

LOVED IT!
My boyfriend originally had this jacket and LOVED it! Sleeves are long which works perfect for him but you may need to roll them up, also chest size is bigger so broad shoulders help ( we purchased a Large ) Hood rolls up but does not come off unlike the womans version. great wind breaker and waterproof. It is thinner so i dont recommend for extremely cold days. We used it for everyday use, camping and even backpacking through Europe. When he lost it he was extremely upset. I was soooo Glad that Altrec still had it. I bought him a brand new one. The only problem we ever had with it was that the bottom button popped off but Helly Hansen fixed if for us at no charge. Love the jacket and Loved how fast Altrec shipped it to us! 5 STARS

Worth the money
I got this as a rain shell because i live on the Oregon coast. Its light so I can wear it when its warm and raining, or i can layer it for when its colder. Ive worn it on my motorcycle and it works great as a windbreaker. Im slender and its a bit loose around the body. I had a more expensive HH jacket before that had a drawstring halfway up the body, as well as on the bottom. This one only has it on the bottom.

Very happy with my purchase.
My girlfriend knew I needed a rain jacket so she got me the cheaper HH Voss jacket in red, but I can't sneak up on birds with a red jacket. I returned that one for this Dublin jacket in Walnut. I am 6'3" and Lanky so I purchased the Large. The sleeve length is good but unless I am wearing layers, the chest size is a little big on me. I tested the rain resistance by sticking my arm in the shower and I at first felt like I could feel moisture but I was wrong, I pulled my arm out and with the few droplets that were able to hang on to the jacket I simply brushed them off and the jacket felt completely dry. Very cool. It is also a great wind breaker, my bike ride to school was great, I was very comfortable in this jacket. If you need a nice rain jacket but don't want to spend a ridiculous amount, I think this one is definitely well worth the ~85$ I paid.

A great value!
Water rolls off it like a duck's back, yet it is surprisingly light and easy to wear. It keeps the wearer relatively warm without sweating. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a solid, lightweight quality rain jacket.
