Definitely my favorite fleece thus far. I've got several from a variety of brands but found this one to be the most versatile best fitting of all. So far it's seen a couple hikes as light jacket, a few runs down the hill as a midlayer and even a couple nights out on the town as an everyday jacket.
The fit is pretty trim. I'm 5'8" 165# ordered a medium Has a nice snug fit from the shoulders-chest-to waist. Nice athletic look to it that keeps wind from getting in underneath it also the snug fit keeps it from bunching up underneath when using it as midlayer. It's got that show and go, it looks great with jeans, ski pants, cargos everything I've thrown at it so far.

Nice fleece jacket
Just got it so can't really comment on the durability or 'wind-proofness' but is is certainly warm and a well made jacket. I'm 5'7", 145lbs and the medium fits well. I returned a small b/c it was too tight. Zipper pulls are nice. Chest pocket is nice to have too. Draw cord at the waist to tighten up if desired. If there was one thing I'd change, I'd make the wrist cuffs a little tighter. Other than that, please with the jacket and pleased with the Altrec transaction!

Great midlayer
This jacket is perfect for average temperatures. Its durable, warm, light, has a great design and multiple pockets. Ordered in black color- great pattern. Usually I'm wearing XL and it is true to size. I had always use Helly Hansen products in past, never failed.

Nice, very nice
The jacket looks good, not sure how it will hold up over time but for 100 i would say it was worth it. I reviewed a few websites to read reviews so I could get the sizing right before I ordered. For a frame of reference, I am 6ft and weight 165, shirt size is 38inches. i usually wear medium t-shirts. So i checked out the sizing on the Helly Hansen site and the small was through 39 inches. i was skeptical but fleeces usually are over sized so I decided to get a small. The fit is trim with a t-shirt on and snug with a two layers on but i didn't feel constricted at all. The body and arms are long.

Excellent Jacket
The Rift jacket is the fleece jacket I have been wanting for years. It is very warm, has a good windblock and a trim fit. I am 6'4" and 170 lbs. This jacket fits very comfortably without flapping in the wind. Importantly, the arms are long enough. The chest pocket is very useful.

Extraordinary...
Best looking fleece jacket I have seen so far. Nice standout details all around, especially when unzipped. It has a design pattern that compliments the zipper. Very cool. Large fits me perfectly for my 6" 165lbs athletic physic. Not huge like other companies Large size; North face. I like having things that stand out from the common. Not boring and typical like other big companies fleece. This is it. Plenty of compliments. Worth double the price in my opinion.

Versatile and warm fleece
I've been a fan of Helly Hansen products for years and the Rift Fleece Jacket did not disappoint. I use my fleece year round and have put it through it's paces. In the spring and fall it's a great jacket by itself providing warmth and freedom of movement when engaged in various outdoor activities. I have found it to be a great layering jacket in the winter as well. I'm 5'10" 175lbs and the large fits nicely and the elastic drawcords allow the jacket to fit snugly. If your looking for a great all around fleece jacket for all seasons I would recommend giving the Helly Hansen Rift Fleece Jacket a try.

Great Fleece

Amazing Quality
Purchased this Helly Hanson fleece jacket for my husband. He wears an XL and it fits perfectly. It is very well made and the detailed lining that peeks through the neckline when unzipped is very nice. Wore it to work today and received numerous compliments!

Altrec Rift
Definetly a great looking and feeling fleece. its not the warmest thing I own, but with a long sleeve shirt beneath it creates pretty comfortable warmth. It runs a bit large for a MD, I usually wear larges and this fits me very well.
perfect for something to wear to the office or on the weekends during the cooler temps.

Very nice jacket
Excellent looking jacket, its obviously of a very high quality and it extremely lightweight. The jacket fits a little bit large, this is nice for layering but with nothing much beneath it, it is a tad loose.
I really like the construction on the sleeve cuffs and collar. the collar is very comfortable, and the cuffs are nice enough to make it not look like an average jacket. This just ads a nice piece of enhancement.
