I love this jacket. It was recommended by a friend and Altrec had the best price. It is totally waterproof which is so good in the snow, rain, and sleet. I wear it over a fleece or sweater in winter and will wear it alone in Spring and Fall. It is very light weight and is slightly form fitting so is very flattering. I thought the purple might be too bright but it is not and I have had many compliments.
