Description
A high performance ski jacket with alpine style, the Helly Hansen Velocity Jacket offers maximum comfort and protection for life on the mountain. Made from Helly Tech Performance fabric, this ski jacket is extremely waterproof and ultra breathable, with fully taped seams, and 100g Primaloft insulation for lightweight warmth. It has articulated elbows and a standard fit for easy mobility on the slopes, and a feminine silhouette at the lodge. The burly YKK zippers slide easily in cold, icy conditions, while a multitude of pockets both inside and out stash the items you take with you on the mountain. If you're skiing a deep line after catching first chair, the powder skirt seals out the snow, and if you decide to hike out on High Traverse for some fresh lines later on in the day, the zippered vents will help keep you cool. The adjustable hood detaches for a streamlined exterior when it's not in use. From a sunny day at Mammoth with the kids, to some epic runs at Whistler with your girlfriends, the Helly Hansen Women's Velocity Jacket will keep you comfy at any speed.

Received the shipment a little later than expected but regardless the jacket is pretty amazing. Got a great end of year deal on it. Performs very well and withstood a very wet weekend up in Vermont perfectly

This was my first HH piece and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit. It was a gift for my gf and she is going to Patagonia this month so we'll see how it performs but I have high hopes. after seeing the jacket first hand. The removable powder skirt is a nice feature as well as the removable hood.

Better than expected

This is definitely one of the best snow gear jackets I have ever worn. Great details (wrist lining, multiple pockets, built in goggle wipe, detachable hood) and even better design. It does fit a bit smaller than expected, but since it is a very warm jacket/shell on its own, I haven't had a problem since I only wear light base layers. I love the design almost as much as I love its functional practicality. Also, the fact that it come with a 2 for 1 lift ticket to various mountains was an added and unexpected perk. Highly recommend this jacket.

Once again Helly Hansen has it right. I bought this jacket for my girlfriend and she loves it! The women's jackets run a little small so keep that in mind if the girl isn't a waif!

I first saw this jacket on a friend and thought it was so cool. I love the black base with the pink accents. Its girly without being too much. This jacket is super warm without being too bulky and it kicks butt in the snow. Another great feature are the spandex wrist warmers with thumb holes on the inside of the coat!

I recieved my jacket WAY earlier than expected. I love the way this jacket fits and it is very warm. The weather has been changing drastically and I have a durable and warm jacket for it. I would reccomend this jacket to anyone. It is PERFECT. And it was a good price.

Great ski jacket

- The colour online reflects closely what it's, so I didn't get any surprise when I received it. - The hood for women's jacket can't be folded in. It's always hanging at the back. - Fits is a bit small. I usually wears small, but I feel a bit tight around breast and butt in this one. Length of the sleeve is a bit long, but still ok. But it's not too bad when I went to the hill maybe because of the flexibility of the material. - Jacket is warm enough on a mild day of -12C on the lift chair. - Great on water proof.
