GREAT WATERPROOF!!!!

These pants are awesome for being waterproof! Ive soaked them and stayed dry as can be. They do there job. Just be aware that they fit a little weired. Im 5'4 120lbs. and got the small. They fit just fine but the waist was surprisingly tight and the legs are very long even with the waist rolled over i still had to cut an inch or so off the bottom. also the leg opening isnt very flare enough to cover the laces on a goretex shoe. so i cut a slit in the side so it would cover my shoe all the way. problem solved. Overall awesome pants..just be warned you may have to do a little altering! :)

great for the price, surprisingly durable

I ordered these for a summer of field work in Maine, which turned out to be one of the wettest seasons they had seen in quite some time. One of my kayak guides insisted they would rip in a minimal amount of time, but after 6 weeks out in the rain slipping on rough rocks, I never had one problem. Yes they are completely waterproof. Great waterproof pants

I bought this pants for a rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. It worked great. Kept me dry and warm through many of the major rapids. It fits great (a little long but you can roll it). Its gets hot if worn off the water, and also can rip if you are rock scrambling or hiking. But for water protection can't beat the quality and price. Its not as lightweight as some of the more expensive rain pants, but served its purpose well.

these pants are a great price for those that rarely need rainpants. they aren't too heavyweight but still offer great water protection. Material is soft and doesn't make any of that annoying rattling noise!

works great over pants and kept me dry-very durable-wish it had pockets. I like the dark color so it doesn't show dirt, Pant length is great not too short. The material is soft enough to roll and put in backpack to carry with.

I purchased these pants to wear in heavy rain. They are very comfortable and great quality...especially for the price! They do run a bit small. I am 5'5 120 pounds and always wear a small on the bottom. I need to be able to put these over my existing pants when needed. I had to return and exchange for a medium. I would recommend these pants!

Great Groomer Pants

My daughter is a dog groomer and these pants are great !!! Very durable. She really likes them. She is also tall (5'9") and loves the fact that they are very long in length. They do run a little small in size. I ordered her a medium and they fit well.

I co-own a dog daycare in Penfield, NY and we are outside most of the time rain or shine. The Helly Hansen pants not only keep me nice and dry but so far they have also withstood dog paws and claws. Great buy. Great price.

Going on 2 wk motorcycle vacation to New York State Adirondacks & New England area in June. Need to pack portable rain gear, which this piece is very small & compact to roll up. Pants are not a durable as a $100.+ gortex material; however, for the $, it will certainly suit it's purpose. I would not advise sky diving into a water fall or a lot of endurance activity, as they would not be able to hold up under extreme conditions. They are large enough to be able to wear warmer clothing under garment. Has secure fastener snaps on pant leg to ensure snug fit, where needed.

I bought the HH Voss pants for a seasonal forestry job in the Oregon Cascades and they worked out very well. Fit well over my already loose work pants and boots to keep my lower half dry. The drawstring closure makes them easy to get on & off. No rips or noticeable wear on the pants, should last for many years to come. Definitely paid for themselves, wouldn't hesitate to buy any HH item.

Basic Rain Barrier

These are completely waterproof, rubberized pants. They are not a breathable laminate fabric, but rather made from the same material the ponchos are made from. They serve their purpose, and for the price, are a good buy.

The pants are very comfortable, warm and keeps you dry... what else can one ask for? Oh... the price has to be a mistake... Helly Hansen under $100???

These rain pants fit great! They are tougher than your light weight backpacking pants but not too heavy to take on those shorter trips. They work great for fall rain and winter snow!

I'm 5'2" and I ordered an x-small. The pants fit true to size and are therefore too long for my short legs. However, the pants have somewhat of a narrow ankle and hiking boots keep them from dragging on the ground. I gave a "fair" rating for the quality because the seams have glue holding them together... i'm thinking its because the waterproof material cannot be sewn? All-in-all the pants will do as described and are worth the inexpensive price.
