Great product!

Bought these for my wife and they fit her perfectly and they keep her very warm on these cold winter mornings. I would highly recommend them because they are still light and thin, yet very warm.

warm and comfy
April 15, 2010

I'm spending the semester in Norway and I really needed a good, warm baselayer that would get me through the winter. These pants are soft and comfortable and all I need under my snow pants or waterproof layer. I'm very happy!

Great Product
February 25, 2012

I have worn Helly Hansen Warm products for comfort around the house as well as out in the elements. I do not get overheated but stay warm. They fit snug but never feel tight. The product seems true to size. At times the wool content does irritate my neck but I am sensitive that way.

Best Winter Underwear Ever
June 09, 2011

The Helli's are a great fit and actually long enough to cover my writst in the tops and cover my anles in the bottoms. Warmth like I have never experienced. I went fishing in my bass boat in 30 degree weather with the wind blowing and did not get cold at all!!! Fabulous and held up wash after wash!

Keeps U Warm
January 02, 2011

I've had this product for awhile now. The wool is NOT scratchy on my legs. I bought the Large and it fits true to size and the waistband is comfortable. Typically, women's 'longjohns' on my 33 in. inseam legs are like floodpants. Not these; they hit at the top of the ankle bone. These are thick enough to be warm, but are not bulky. I took them to South Island of NZ in cool early November (mid spring), and used them under light zipoffs for the perfect combo since wool stays warm if wet and wicks. [Wool is the typical baselayer in NZ] I've used these on cold days skiing under insulated ski pants with good result. Yesterday, I was comfortable walking in 20 deg F breezy weather with these under non-windproof fleece warmup pants. Versatile choice and good performance for the price. I follow washing instructions and they're holding up well.

Great fit and warm
January 19, 2012

I am always cold and these pants helped me stay warm on an 18 degree F day while sledding. I am 5'8" and slim and the medium pants are form fitting, not too tight, and long enough to cover my ankles.

Great comfy baselayer for snowboarding!
May 31, 2011

I've had a hard time finding good baselayer pieces. They have uncomfortable waistbands or ankle elastic. Or they look like long johns from when you were 6 years old. Or the cools ones are are super expensive. Finding this HH piece seems to have solved my problems! It was thin, lightweight, soft, and warm. The fit was awesome. I'm 5'6", about 132 lbs., and a size 6. I ordered a medium and it fit really well. The material wicks away moisture and was super comfy under my snowboarding pants. Altrec offered this item on sale, which was a definite plus too. I'll be looking to buy more in other colors for future snowboarding trips. Put more of them on sale, Altrec!!

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
