Good value hiking boot

Bought these for my daughter for camp. The boots needed very little break-in time, ready to go out of the box. While she was at camp I bought some for me so I have personal experience too.

Great boot but my daughter usually wears a size 2 and we bought her a size three in this boot and it is too small. So we will have to return it and order a bigger size.

Great boots for the price. Went hiking today and my daughter's feet stayed dry even after a number of small stream crossings. Sizing seems a bit small. My daughter measures at size 13 so we originally purchased a size 1 to give her some room to grow. The size 1 fit but with no extra room so we returned those and purchased a 1.5 which has a little room but is not too large.

Bought these for my daughter who is very hard to please with correct fit. She had previously rejected a pair of Merrell Ventilators, but these fit well - but a little big. I bought them a size bigger because of the other reviews stating they ran small. I'm guessing they run about a half size small, not a full size. We are sticking with these, she is happy to pull them tight and we will have room to grow. The sole is flexible compared to some boots, so breakin shouldn't be difficult. On to summer trips in the outdoors.
