True to size, sturdy but light. Really comfortable, proved absolutely waterproof in rainy weather conditions in Bariloche. The toe overlay provides extra protection in the trail, and they still look good for everyday wear.

I like the overall feel of the shoe. My only complaint is with the lacing. I like to wear my shoes "tight" and I'm not able to easily tighten the top lace. The top lace is not a grommet style, but a "speed" lace.

shoes seem to be of good quality. If I ordered them again I would order 1/2 size smaller as they seem to be a little loose. I like the lacing system, easy on and off. Have only had them for a couple of weeks but they seem to be waterproof and very sturdy.

I am on my feet all day outside and spend the majority of the day in damp surroundings. The shoes keep my feet dry thereby allowing me to keep working without the discomfort of wet feet. I have tried other shoes and was disappointed within weeks of my purchase. Not in this case. Highly recommend this footwear!

I ordered the shoes a half size larger than needed so I could put a gel insole in. Shoe fits like a glove, is very comfortable and has required almost no break-in period. While I haven't been out in the rain to try the waterproofing, I did pour a bit of water on one of the shoes and it beaded right up. I'll be wearing it in Alaska and I think it will be the perfect shoe for the conditions, but have been wearing it regularly since I got it in the mail.

These are very comfortable shoes and the fit is true to size. I am always concerned about getting a good fit when ordering online. These shoes did not disappoint. They look great and feel great. I am even tempted to buy another pair but don't know if that is neccessary since they seem very durable. The free shipping was also big plus. Hats off to altec.com. Highly recommended!

Great shoe - great fit - just what I was looking for - I highly reccomend it! the sizing was just as described. Many times the fit isn't as advertised. I'll buy more of these shoes as I need replacements for what I already have.
