Great
December 13, 2009
Very warm boots for the Upstate NY climate, and I am extra sensitive to cold (my toes start to turn white at around 60 degrees F). Very comfortable as well, all around. My foot is wider, and there are no complaints there. The sole is extremely aggressive as described for added confidence when trudging through snow or walking on icy pavement. Only downfall is that the d-rings make it a little longer to put on and take off the shoes (which I realized after wearing them shoe shopping).
Light Weight, Nice Traction
November 22, 2011
I haven't had a chance to test this boot in the cold temps, but so far, it seems warm. The weight of the boot is really nice 'cause usually these things weigh a ton. The traction seems pretty formidable, so I'm really looking forward to wearing these when conditions are challenging! Great color, too.
Pros: light weight, nice traction, great colorWrite a review for the Hi-Tec St. Moritz 200 Snow Boots here.
Great buy

At first I wasn't sure about the feel of these boots but after a few times wearing them I absolutely love them. I took a leap of faith not only buying the brown pair but also in the black! They keep my feet nice and warm even being out for hours in the dreaded cold! I think they look bulky but for the size of the shoe they are actually pretty light.
Snow Boots

They are very cozy boots but with no side zipper it is hard to get jeans tucked into them. I typically wear a size 9 and I ordered a size 9 and it is roomy, so with thick socks they will fit nicely.
What is up with those laces?
March 22, 2013
These boots are not too bad - they are light and comfortable. They run a bit big, but I wish they had size 9 1/2 as 9 is a bit on the small side for me and 10 is definitely too big. My biggest issue with them is they have two sets of laces? Really? The second set is not very visible on the product images. The boot looks ridiculous with so many laces. And also is time consuming to adjust both. Completely unnecessary.
Pros: comfortable, Cons: run too big, 2 sets of laces, laces look badGreat for the snow

I bought these at the last minute before spring break and needed them in the 7 inches of Santa Fe snow. They were true to size and comfortable. Ordering was easy and they came on time
better than more expensive boots
March 28, 2013
I bought these boots because my North Face Chilkats literally fell apart while I was hiking in Lake Tahoe. My boyfriend swears by Hi-Tech and he is so unbelievably picky about everything. So when I showed him these boots, he said to buy them. When I got them, he said he liked them better than my Uggs (visually). They are technically capable and warm. They are a little tight in the toe but I might just need to break them in. Time will tell. Overall, I couldn't be happier
Good Boot
October 19, 2011
This is a good boot. I haven't used it yet as there is no snow but they were nice and warm when I tried them on. The tread looks extra durable and the price was great.
One Major Issue
February 14, 2013
I like the look, the weight, color, waterproof quality, the tread and the warmth of this boot and they fit true to size. They take considerable time to loosen and tighten the laces each time you take them on and off. I don't mind that too much since it is a big plus that the number of laces allows for a nice custom fit. But the reason I didn't rate these higher is there is a very significant and hard ridge in the area of the ankle bone. It's between the lacing loop and the "200 Thermo-dri" tag and it actually cuts into my ankle bones and is very uncomfortable. I've tried different lacing tightness, heavier socks, double socks and so far after wearing these about a dozen times it hasn't loosened up nor have I found a way to alleviate the painful points. It eases a bit when my feet warm up, but never goes away. For that reason I regrettably would not recommend these boots.
