I like the size & all the pockets...works great for biking/travelling...it just seems to keep going on the inside...like the black & white design- very sharp

Good school backpack

I was looking for a functional backpack for my daughters to use for school. The backpack is a good size in that it fits several notebooks easily and yet is not too large for their body frames (5 feet 2 inches, 100 pounds). Appears to be durable and I like the compression strap across the pack.
Pros: Build quality, Great valueWrite a review for the High Sierra Fat Boy Backpack here.
Nothing Fits in it!

ok, so I bought this back pack for my daughter, because it's her first year of middle school...But when I tried fitting 3, 2 inch binders in the bag, they wouldn't fit. Not to mention, my daughter also has 2, 1 inch binders as well. This backpack is awful!
Didn't survive the first week of school!

Very disappointed in the quality/durability of this backpack. I have HS luggage that I have been very happy with, but this pack didn't hold up the first week of school. My daughter had to bring a lot of books to school the first week and the bag did not hold the weight at all. The small handle on the top of the pack pulled from the seams the first day and she wasn't carrying the bag from that handle. Now its week two and the zipper has broken. I just ordered a pack from TNF, hoping that will work out better. Don't bother with this bag unless you have a student that really doesn't have to carry anything heavy (even for one day).
Pros: Great design, size of pack, Cons: Wears quickly, Low performance, Poor qualityIt's okay

I love this backpack. It has 4 visible zippers. And it can fit lots of my textbooks. It's a good product for its price. Its kinda heavy on your back if you have lots of textbooks in the bag but not as heavy like other bags.
versatile bag

While this bag may not be huge, it has PLENTY of space for my third graders books, soccer gear (not ball), lunch and a change a clothes for after practice. On weekends and vacation days it easily transitions to a travel bag. My only pseudo complaint is that it has too many pockets/compartments for things to get lost in.

I bought this back for my 6yr old......she loves it and her girl friends love it and I love it. she loves the color, the amount of room it has for homework, lunch bag, it does not have a water mesh outside but it does not matter cause we put it in one of the pockets. I think it is a great size for a first grader up to 3rd grade.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: the material does not seem very strongWrite a review for the High Sierra Fat Boy Backpack here.
