I just got this hydration pack a couple of days ago. I went flyfishing with it today and it was perfect. The pack is not too heavy and it kept me hydrated all day on the river.

This hydration pack worked great to keep me hydrated while hitting the slopes. So far I have only used it once, but it worked great. I do wish it had a strap across the chest though.

Does it work?

The pack looks good. Material appears durable and the weight of the pack is light. I will be able to give a better review once I use the pack on a ski trip. The price was excellent.

Great price!
December 12, 2011

Ordered this for my 8 yr old but it's too big so will have to order him a kids version for mountain biking, hiking. etc. Well made though...I think I'll just keep this one for myself. Wish it had a strap across the chest for when I'm running but I'll rig something up.

Good Starter Hydro Pack
December 05, 2010

I bought this only because I needed an item for free shipping and I was sorta looking for a hyrdo pack for trail runs. This is a very decent backpack with bladder included. It is very minimal in bell and whistles, but does its job. It doesnt have any straps at all. I ended up sewing a chest strap on and it worked out well. I did have the sewing on the shoulder straps tear with normal use. It was an easy fix. I have had no issues with the bladder or mouth piece leaking. I actually am using the bladder from this backpack in my new go-lite backpack. Overall a good buy for the price if you're not not expecting too much.

Pros: Ease of use, Great value
Cons: Wears quickly

Great Deal!

I was a little skeptical at the price, but this hydration pack is everything I have had in more expensive versions. So far the bladder and water tube are working perfectly.

Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Great Buy!
March 05, 2010

I bought this for my long trail runs. I was going to just buy a bladder to fit my North Face Heckler Backpack, but this was the same price plus you get the mini hydration pack as well. I use it alone and I also use it in my bigger backpack. It works great and the mouth piece works as expected - no leaks thus far. Only complaint is like another reviewer said about the lack of a chest strap. I took their advice and sewed on my own. Overall extremely happy with purchase.
