Flint is Grey
April 26, 2013
Duh! Flint is a grey color. I swear the flint colored Holden Skinny Pants look like a nice chocolately brown on all my computer screens. I know flint should intuitively be a grey color, but I was just sure these would arrive in the brown I was envisioning. Sadly, they did not. I was sucked in by the idea that these would move seamlessly from outdoor adventure activities (e.g. hiking in the very damp Pacific Northwest) to a nice, indoor lodge activities (i.e. restaurant dinner). These pants will serve that purpose nicely (in black, not flint or white). However, for me, they just don't fit comfortably. I'm 5'6" and 140lbs, fit but curvy. These Holden Skinny Pants are too skinny/tight through the hips and thighs but then too big around the knees, lower legs, and length. If they were about 4 inches shorter (and I never wear a petite or short size in anything else) and just a bit roomier in the hip area, they'd be perfect. I suppose if you're wearing them with snowboard/ski boots as intended they'd be perfect. I was just hoping they'd be a bit more versitle for my needs.
