Description

With its vapor-transferring close fit, the Merino wool I/O Bio Women's Contact 1 LS Zip ensures dry, comfortable days whether you're charging the steep and deeps of winter, or biking in Moab slick rock in spring. As an excellent next-to-skin layer, this super fine, never itchy, and body-odor resisting ¼ zip top hugs you comfortably, while its raglan sleeves with side panels fend-off the rub and irritation of layering or a pack. I/O's merino wool not only regulates temperature unlike any other textile, I/O also uses P-9 wool—a vertically integrated supply chain that ensures quality performance and equality in the marketplace.

I had this baselayer for over a year before i needed to replace it. I wore it for skiing and biking. The arms are a great length, as I am 5'10" with long arms. The body is a great length too. I washed and wore it at least 150 times before it started to wear out and get a few holes. I never hand washed it, only machine washed. It likely would have lasted longer if I took the time to hand wash it, but I wore it so often, that I just wanted to machine wash it. I was able to wash out odors after each use. I will only use this garment as my baselayer, it is truly the best one I have ever used.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Love it!!
July 07, 2011

Have worn this several times this summer and love it! The color is wonderful! It does run a little bit small. I ordered the large but it seems to fit like a medium. It washes up beautifully. I washed it but just hung to dry. I have been extremely happy with this!

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value
