Functional and Stylish!
May 11, 2012

Love the cap! Keeps my head warm when it's cool to cold outside but doesn't overheat in warmer conditions due to the temperature regulating properties of wool. Low to mid 70's is probably the warmest I would recommend depending on your activity level. I haven't washed yet, so cannot really rate durability that well. I've received several compliments from both friends and random people people alike giving me credit for being far more fashionable than I really am. It meets my expectation on initial quality and easily lives up to Ibex's stellar reputation.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

Stylin'
February 02, 2012

Love the styling and construction of this hat. I was looking for a nice quality hat and this fit the bill perfectly and at the right price. Only qualm about this hat is the sizing. The medium is a little snug and the large is a little too big. After reading another reviewer's review about being able to stretch it out, I've decided to keep the medium and return the large. The heather gray color is perfect, IMHO.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
Cons: sizing is a little off

This is a great cap
January 24, 2012

I usually shy away from caps that have generic sizes, but the XL fits my size 7 3/8 head just about perfect. I love that the wool of the cap forms to my head over the course of a couple of days, this helps to provide a perfect fit. Overall, this is a very comfortable cap.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
Comfort: 4 / 5
Durability: 4 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Beautiful, but the medium was too small
October 20, 2011

Usually I'm a medium hat, I've never measured my hat size (seriously, have you?), but it's always a solid, middle of the road medium. This medium, however, was quite a bit too small. It's a gorgeous hat and I love it, warm, nice color, solid construction with a really nice heft to it, which is why I haven't returned it. "But why wear it if it's too small?" I hear you ask! Because wool can stretch! Did you know that? I gripped it in my hands, and with a not super-human effort, I stretched it around the brim so that, after a couple of stretches in about a 10 minute span, it fit perfectly. I look like such a stud. So my review is as follows: 1.Beautiful hat 2. Well made 3. Nice color 4. Runs a bit small 5. But with a little elbow grease (do they even sell that any more?) you can make if fit like it was made just for you. 6. You'll look like such a stud (your mileage may vary)

Pros: Great design, Build quality, nice color
Cons: too small baby
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Best hat I own
October 14, 2011

I just received this hat a few days ago and I am super impressed. It is a thick wool hat, perfectly styled and extremely comfortable. It isn't cold enough yet, but I know it will keep my head warm on those cold winter days. I was looking for a hat I could wear casually and for dress; this is definitely it. Also, it is just deep enough where it covers a substantial part of my head without making my ears bow out which has tended to be a problem for me with hats.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

I wear it backwards..

Great light weight wool cap. it is low volume, i.e. short top to bottom, so it rides a bit high on the head. Fit is true to size. Very well made, nice material and classy understated branding. Good heather gray color
