Perfect for transitional weather
March 25, 2013
This jacket is the perfect layer piece for spring/fall rides or, depending on where you live, a ride in which you experience slight temp. variations and just need a little windproof or layer to take the chill off. When it/you warms up, it is light and small enough to tie around your waist or stuff away in pack or rear pouch of bike jersey. What I like: It's lightweight and has wool liner only on the chest panel, not on the sleeves or back. This is good for wind blocking without overheating you. It has reflective patches for night riding/running. Pockets! I love pockets. It has a pocket on the left and right sides on the front and it has a nice rear zip pouch. What I don't like: I have really small forearms and I can't pull the sleeves up. They are too tight. The zipper is a bit undersized though it hasn't snagged or caused any trouble. I just like a bigger zipper so it's quicker to zip.Pros: Performance
Good but not great

This jacket is not fully lined with wool. The front panels are lined with wool, but no wool lining in the sleeves or back. Now, this is fine but the price seems to be a little high for a product made mostly of synthetic material. The quality is great, and the fit is on the slim side. I'm 6'1" and 175 lb., and the M fits just right (wearing 150 grams wool baselayer); however, I definitely wouldn't go smaller.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Cons: Cost, expensive for small amount of wool
Comet Blue and New Grass.
