Completely surpassed my expectations. I was looking for a semi-light weight full zip sweatshirt. After deliberating for a while about spending the extra money for a wool hooded sweatshirt I pulled the trigger. One of the best purchases in a long time for me. Great at keeping temperature regulated. As a mid layer it is very warm, breathable and wicks well. All the properties that make wool a favorite material for active endeavors. Also, it doesn't get too hot when worn alone. After cycling in the cold for a couple hours, I'll come in and get out of the sweaty clothes. Slip the Ibex on and instantly warm up. another one of wool's inherent virtues is it doesn't hold odor like some synthetics can be prone to do, so it doesn't have to go in the wash every time it touches a sweaty body. Overall, I am loving it and thinking of excuses to wear it whenever I can.
