stylish, comfortable, warm and durable
one of my favorite hats. i've 12+ ibex hats and loads more their sweaters and stuff. superb quality. very warm. i had to purchase a second time b/c a friend of mine loved it so much that she took it. receive compliments. recommended. and highly recommend ibex stuff.

warm & cute hat!
It's been perfect for snowy Colorado! It's a nice thick wool & has been keeping me cozy on walks around town and going sledding. It's a little looser/roomier than most "one size fits all" hats which never fit me and long enough to cover my ears & keep them warm too!

Fantastic hat
Very nice... earthy looking hat. It is fairly heavy and the weave is dense but it breathes well and is very comfortable. I have Windstopper hats and lightweight beanies and this is somewhere in between those in warmth. But like the other Ibex pieces I own, this also combines style, comfort and function so well it has quickly become my favorite hat.

Buy It For Looks Only - NOT Function
This hat looks ok but performs poorly. In cold temperatures the hat doesnt really keep my head very warm. The wool shrunk up alot when I washed it (following instructions) and the has doesnt fit my head too well. This is the second item I have purchased from IBEX. The other was a wool sweater which also functioned poorly. In general I would say from my experience IBEXs' gear is more about looks than actual outdoor performance.

Works great
I bought to wear while walking the dog, pre/post skiing( I wear a helmut skiing). Wool is warm. I have a big head (XXL) and it is not too binding. Good hat.

Love It!!
I only wish I would have had my Ibex Top Knot Hat when I hiked the John Muir Trail (all of it). I love this hat, I've been on some cold day hikes and it has performed as I expected it to do. Thanks for your quick service. Hike240

Great hat for cold weather
I love this hat. It is comfortable and warm. It is extremely warm so be careful you don't use it in mildly cold weather. It is best for really cold days. It breathes well, but is just too warm for the high temps. It's great in the wind.

If it's cold out, and you have to choose one hat, take the Ibex Top Knot.
