Wool is the best
I've replaced all my base layers with wool. It's warm, comfortable and odor-free. They fit great, true to size. The Merino wool does not scratch, which is the one complaint most people have about wool.

Mens Woolie Bottoms
Bought these for my husband for XC skiing. Very light under his Patagonia Guide Pants.(softshell) He really liked how light and non-itchy they were. Normally he would never wear wool. He is a 33 waist 32 inseam and the Medium was form fitting. If you like yours a bit looser, size up.

Ibex is awesome
I bought these to go with the Woolies top i bought and could not be happier. It's not real thick, in fact it's almost see-thru, but it keeps me warm and it doesn't stink! I don't know how it does it but merino is awesome. Go natural you won't regret it.

comfortable, but.....
I was really looking forward to these but was surprised at how delicate the material is. While removing them after wearing them for the first time, they ripped mid leg while pulling them with average force. I own other Ibex items and have always been satisfied with those, however.

Keep you warm!
On the chilly day hike, I never go without this bottom as base. It keeps you warm and dry at the same time. Great buy for sure.

Best of the Best!
I've used Icebreaker 200 weight tights before this - they wore holes through the knees within about a year of (rough) use. Perhaps expected, but I was a bit disappointed. However, I have an Ibex woolies shirt which I've had for probably 2 years now and has been worn through all kinds of insane bushwacking trips - from cactus crunching through Big Bend in 100+ plus temps to glissading down snowfields in Jasper this fall - and is still in awesome shape! No holes, no piling, and fits like a glove.
I just picked up the matching Woolies tights and these feel as burly as the top. They do fit a little small, I usually wear a men's small but wear a medium in Ibex's stuff. I tried them out near Donner pass snowshoeing (underneath some Patagonia Traverse pants) yesterday and they kept me warm, and most importantly, dry. Nice!
I think Ibex makes the best Merino wool - their stuff is soft, super versatile, and BURLY. If you're looking for Merino long underwear tights that are versatile and indestructible these are them! There really are no negatives - Woolies are pretty much my most essential kit.

Great product
Fits great. I normally buy wool long underwear and this fits the bill for quality, warmth, and not a cheap itchy poor product. I live in one of the top three coldest cities in the U.S. so long underwear is a must and I would recommend this brand. I have found it to be well worth spending a little extra cash on good winter product and these are very reasonably priced compared to some of the other better brands.

Ain't no stink on me
In addition to being lightweight, these are highly breathable, giving them a wide functional temperature range. Best of all, they don't succumb to the funky stench that synthetics do. What more could you ask for?

More breathable than Patagonia Capilene
I usually wear Patagonia Capilene inside and outside the house during winter time. However, the Patagonia keeps too much heat when I am in the house. Ibex Woolies bottom regulates the temperature well inside and outside the house. I am slowly changing my wardrobe to Ibex Products. I wish all of Ibex items are made of USA. They might be more expensive but the quality is not compromised!

Awesome
These bottoms kept me warm in 4 degree weather in the Colorado rockies skiing and snowmobiling. They also stayed dry, and no itch. I wore them under some Arcteryx theta bibs, and that was it, warm, dry and comfy. HIghly recommend. Only let down-- no pee hole, but not a major issue.

Great product, excellent company
A finer pair of long undies you may never find. Very well-constructed, incredibly soft and comfy- just the slightest bit itchier than synthetic, but lighter and thinner with same warmth, and keep smelling clean long after synthetics would need a wash. Durable, non-sagging.
