Best light weight hat
I love that it keeps you warm and seems not to overheat like synthetics. It has enough elastic in it that it keeps its shape and stays on when running. It fits nice under a helmet and is not bulky.
Love wool

Fits Like A Glove!
I bought this same hat in Colorado last year on a ski trip, but it never made it back to Tennessee. Actually I forgot I bought it only having it few days before misplacing it. Was getting gear together for this years trip & I found the receipt where I bought it in a gear bag. I remembered what a sweet hat she was so I had to purchase another one. Best hat I've ever owned. Fits like it was tailored to my head. Extremely warm & stretchy too! I can pull it down over my ears & it stays put.

Moderate Temps Hat
Hat is a little itchy in warm temps. Too thin for colder temps. Nice fitting hat. Folds to compact size. Covers ears nicely. Would reccommend the hat for moderate outdoor activities.

Not Too Shabby
I purchased this hat for running in the winter. I wanted a hat that would cover my ears, keep me warm (but not too warm), was not synthetic, and if I got too hot, I could take it off and store it in my pocket or hand without it being too cumbersome. The Meru hat is perfect. I assume that it will stretch out a little over time because it is wool, but washing it will bring it right back. I own over a dozen Ibex items and have never been disappointed. Please choose sustainable wool. Who wants to wear plastic?

The best winter hat. PERIOD.
The best winter hat. trectchy. Warm. Covers all of my ears. I bought 4 of these, I love them so much. The price is a steal. This is the same material as Ibex' Energy tights. Perfect for winter cycling because the wind doesn't go thru my ears and chill me. Folds up very small so I can hold it in my pocket.

Perfect for me
This cap is warm yet is thin enough so it fits easily in a jacket pocket when not being worn. It also works well under a bike helmet. Probably a heavier cap would be needed for really cold conditions but for moderate winters (eg. Washington DC area) it should be fine. I liked the cap so much I bought another one in a different color.

Wow! I love this hat
I really like wool but it's hard to find a light weight wool hat and I finally did. Fit's well, not so warm that I have to take it off every time I go indoors.

Just Right
I bought the Meru hat primarily to use as a helmet liner while climbing or biking. The material is not bulky or itchy, so it works well as a liner and still provides the extra layer of warmth you need. Less bulk also means it stows away in your pocket nicely when you are heating up from whatever activity you are doing. I wanted a hat that is form fitting and had a lot of stretch to pull down over the ear lobes and the Meru meets this requirement. The soft material and relaxed stretch makes for a comfortable fit. Use my 21 3/4 head size as a guide.
First time I used it was on a 21 hour climb. From ascending the glacier to belaying on the rock it seemed to be the right combination of warmth and comfort and performed just as I hoped. Used in conjuction with a neck gaitor of similar weight and material I was able to regulate my temperature by adding or removing as needed.

comfy stretchy hat
I love this hat because it is wool but not itchy, and because it covers my ears! Other brands are often too tight for me (at least women's-specific hats), but this one is great for the slightly larger than average noggin. It's got a lot of stretch, so I imagine it would be comfy on smaller heads, too.

One of the best hats
I am a runner and in the winter I use lots of hats for running. This one I got just in time for late spring run in the mountains and have to say that it is a very very good hat. It does not get too saggy, manages moisture very well, drys fast, and also looks good. Also - it is an all natural fiber and the hats works better then some of my Icebreaker hats. I am huge Icebreaker fan but this hat is better then Icebreaker and works really well for any type of activity you may have.

Awesome fit!
This is one of the most comfortable hats I have owned. It is plenty warm and fits perfect! It is lightweight and does not rub painfully at all when under a helmet.

Great beanie
This beanie is great! It is warm and packs small and fits nice and tightly without being too tight. The color is really cool as well. Highly recommended

Great hat
This hat fits like a beanie. It's a little heavier in weight versus Smartwool merino, but it wicks, dries and fits as well or better. For those of you who shave your head, you will appreciate how easily the hat slides on and off. It will keep you warm and comfortable (0 to -5 F). This hat may easily be worn for running or casual dress.

good lightweight comfortable hat for running. Just the right amount of insulation to keep my noggin warm, but not too hot.

Great Hat
This hat is quite thin, but very warm. It hugs your head nicely, but not too tight. I live in Chicago and it is great here during the winters. It keeps my head (and ears) warm when I am outside even when it is really windy. I also got one for my dad, who has lost his hair due to chemotherapy and lives in Texas. It is not so cold down there, but the hat help keep him warm and cover is head with a little bit of fashion. If I lost mine, I would immediately go buy another.

Beautiful, functional hat.
I love this hat. It is simple, yet very attractive. It is stretchy and warm. The heather gray color is beautiful. So far I have only worn it casually on cool nights, but I know it will be the perfect hat for cool weather running, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Definitely recommend this hat.

**What a great hat**
I just got this hat and just love it. I ordered the black one and it fit just perfect. The material and construction is worth the price. It not itchy at all and is very warm. Not heavy at all. I would say if your looking for a great hat to wear on a cool day or night this would be it.

Quality hat
I was looking for a watchman's cap which is soft, warm, and not too loud. This is perfect! I have a big noggin, but this stretches to accommodate. I'll buy another. Typical high quality Ibex.

Nice lightweight wool hat
Very good quality wool hat. Not very bulky, would be good for outdoor cold weather activity or for casual wear when you want a simple hat that is not sloppy or thick. Comfortable to wear, it fits tight on your head without folding over or covering your eyes.

Comfortable, well fitted
The cap/hat is very comfortable. Great worn alone or as a helmet liner due to its low profile. Good insulation and good quality. I'm very pleased.

Great lightweight beanie
Quality material and construction. Simple and plain style but that is fine with me. Stretches to accommodate larger heads but not too tight. Also made in the USA. Glad I bought two for the earlier winter months. Not very heavy though.

Sweet beanie!
Great beanie! I wear it running and under my cycling helmet in the winter. Also fits under my skiing helmet. I love this thing and I need to get another in case I ever lose it.

lil tight
Great material and nice style.Though it was too tight for my head. As it being one size only I'm out of luck. It is stretchy but the tightness bothered me after a while.I guess I just have a big head. Probably great for women.
