Comfy Bra
October 19, 2011
This bra is soft, soft, soft! I like the fact that I can change the straps to an x-back for coverage for certain types of tops. Don't purchase this bra if you need support. I am a 34-barely A and I do use it for high-impact cardio, but I wouldn't recommend it for those needing even minimal support. The stiching on the bra seems like it won't last, however, I can't confirm that because I have only had it for a couple of weeks.
Pros: Great designMy everyday essential
November 12, 2011
I use this bra daily and plan to get more. This is a very light weight bra but supportive enough for me. I weight 94lb. Good for traveling because it dries very fast. The shell color is very good with light color summer tees. I have yet found another more comfortable and feminine cut wool bra. Good job ibex!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, very comfortable, dries fast, light weightLove these

My favorite underpants. These are a little pricey for underwear, but I think they're definitely worth it. They are super comfortable, stay in place all day long, and offer just the right amount of coverage. They're great for hiking because they're so breathable and they insulate better than cotton. Highly recommended.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useLightweight
January 25, 2012
This bra is made of extremely thin material, but dries very quickly because of that. Unless you snag the material on something, it's more durable than it looks. The wool does not itch at all, and the bra is very comfortable to wear. Coverage and support is minimal. Don't expect to wear this if you plan on playing sports, but it's perfect for hiking!
v-e-r-y comfortable
March 22, 2011
I think they run a little on the small side, but otherwise wouldn't change a thing about these. They're not cheap, but they are not your average undies. They are deilghtfully comfortable in any weather, and have all the good qualities natural wool provides. Highly recommended.
Sooo comfortable!
September 05, 2012
I absolutely loved this bra. It is was very comfortable to wear. Like other women said, I forgot I had it on. I am small on top(34barely an A) the small fit well but I think I would get a medium next time. There is no padding/lining so becareful what you where it under(i.e. headlights). My only issue is that I wore it in very humid weather combined with sweat the color ran and stained my other layers. Maybe wash it a couple of times first. I would definitely reccomend this for us "less endowed" gals, that don't need alot of support.

Simple Perfection

I was already a big fan of merino but wasn't sure about underwear. I consider myself pretty sensitive but this bra is soft and I have no complaints. I've only had it a few weeks so I can't say anything for durability, but it appears well made and merino tends to hold up better than cotton in my experience. It is comfortable and supportive but also flattering. My size is technically a 32D, which can be tricky to fit (or find). I bought it in medium and it's perfect. I actually bought both this bra and the Icebreaker Siren bra because I couldn't decide. I'm very happy with both and decided to keep them. My reviews for both are basically the same as above. However, the Ibex fabric is a bit thinner and has a nice pattern that I didn't notice online. It's a bit sportier in cut, but still elegant. The straps can be adjusted to cross in back.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityno more chilly cheeks
February 23, 2013
Love the quality (as usual for Ibex) of these wool undies -- no more chilly butt when out in the cold for a long period! No stink, dries fast, comfortable, no itch. The fit at the groin/hip opening is a bit snug and low(?) for me but they've got good stretch and it keeps them in place better for more active pursuits. Love the knit/weave of the Ibex wool - its thicker than the Smartwool and Icebreaker underwear. You get what you pay for.
Great for winter activity
January 07, 2011
I own these and have given them as gifts. People are always amazed at how much warmer they are in these when wearing them outside in the winter. They are very comfortable and don't feel like wool but have the warmth you expect from wool.
Love these

this is the perfect bra, and i'm very picky. i'm buying a few. i'm typically a 32 a/b and the small fits just right- for work and for play/ dance. good amount of coverage, doesn't show under shirts, doesn't stretch out, and is not itchy.

Great bra!
February 02, 2012
I have tried so many, many bras in all materials and types. But this is the first time that I've bought a durable, comfortable, cute-looking one that I wear every day. (And I hate bras). Great design for those who don't want wire or "lift" and the wool/spandex makes this a perfect fit, even if you are not small breasted like me. (My partner wears a Large and she loves hers too).
Pros: Great design, you'll look hotMy favorite briefs
February 05, 2010
Best briefs I've ever worn. Cotton leaves me sweaty. Wool keeps me dry. Best to order up a size. I would own more pairs if Altrec kept them in stock.
Great briefs!
April 02, 2010
I really like these underwear! They are very comfortable, they stay put, and they stay dry when I work out. They're great and I'll wear them all the time, under everything. I can't wait to buy more.
comfie underwear
January 14, 2012
Very comfie, stay in place. I liked how the black looked and ordered the maroon as well. Stylish as well as practical. Am looking forward to trying them out in cold weather, cross country skiing on some 50 K races. Can't really speak to durability. More later in the winter.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityWorth it

Ibex wool underwear. I love them. They fit well, stay in place, and are comfortable. Ibex keeps the stock of these low, so they rarely go on sale. Worth the price.

January 25, 2013
I have been trying briefs from Title 9, Patagonia and Lululemon. Now that I have the Ibex wool briefs I have stopped searching. I love the fit, comfort, wicking and quick drying of these panties. I bought my first pair in an "on sale" color to try them out. Once I was convinced I went back and bought 6 more in other colors to fill out my week's supply. I also added the Woolies stripped Camisole to pare with the briefs for sleeping. Color me happy!

Too Small
December 23, 2011
I don't have much to say about the underwear since I had them on for a nanosecond; they were clearly too small. I only recommend since I'm happy there is wool underwear out there to be had! I ordered a medium. Sometimes I'm a medium and sometimes I'm a large - depending on brand. But I'm wondering if I need to size up to an XL in these. I will exchange but cold bummer for now!

The Best for Ultras
April 27, 2013
I tried several types of underwear while training for my 50 mile race and these are the best by far. They stay put, stay dry, and stay off your mind. As other reviewers mentioned, they do run a bit small; I bought a size larger than I normally wear and they fit perfectly. I've bought several pairs of these now and retired the other brands to casual (non-athletic) use. Ibex has you covered!

The fit is perfect for me. Size 4 pants size equals size small. They look tiny at first but stretch comfortably. I feel naked wearing my Ibex undies and have since purchased 2 other colors. They hand wash and air dry quickly and easily, so have become my daily staple. Durable, but slightly pilled after a month of use and washing. Great for travel or camping too. Worth the price, needs more colors and styles in the fabric.
Snuggly Warm Undies, Sized too small
December 30, 2011
These underware are very good quality and have good coverage if you buy the right size. I am 5'7" and weight 128 lbs. I ordered the size medium. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 pants and in department store underware which come in sizes 5,6,7,8, I normally wear a size 6 in underware. Well the mediums were way snug so that I felt there would be too much stretching beyond the original shape so I returned them. I will be reordering the large which I think will be perfect. I never wear a large in anything so I think the sizing is way off, but the quality is good so I am willing to reorder.

I am a 34D and a large fits well. Don't expect to do any high impact sports in this bra, but it is very comfortable to the point that you might forget you're wearing a bra (which is saying alot).

These briefs are THE BEST BRIEFS EVER! They fit true to size and best of all no creeping. I highly recommend these!!!!!!!! I am on the small side 5'3" about 105 and the small fit perfectly.
Very comfortable, but not as supportive as I hoped
February 01, 2012
I sent this one back. It was VERY comfortable, but didn't provide much support (And I really don't have much to support). I'd go with the other IBEX full coverage if you're looking for something to actually work out in.

After trying on a pair of Ibex's Balance Briefs you'll be telling all your best gal pals about them like they're a favoured pair of shoes. Made in a variety of good power colors from violet to triathlon red to lucid blue, these briefs are comfy beyond belief with a stylish, flattering cut. Ibex's luxurious 17.5 micron Merino wool and seamless design provide comfort and support. The material these briefs are made from is thin, just the way women's briefs should be. At the right thinness, softness, amount of stretch, and cut, the Balance Briefs fit in all the right places and don't move once you slip them on. They become a second skin that you will love. Recommended use: climbing, hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, running, traveling, around town, that emergency-impromptu-hot-springs-dip, you name it they do it.

Best undies ever
January 19, 2010
Once you've gone wool, you'll never go back to cotton, nylon, or synthetics. Stays dry, stays cool, no painful seams or itchy tags, feels generally great both summer and winter. This brief is worth every penny. Be forewarned, I think they size these for Lilliputians; I have a pretty skinny butt, and have to order the largest size for a comfortable fit.
