seamlessly comfortable!
December 21, 2011
these boy short underwear are beyond comfortable. they wick away sweat, keep you warm and dry and are seamless so are not only comfortable, but look great under anything as you don't have to worry about nagging panty lines!
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: CostBoy Shorts that are very much Woman

Love these boy shorts. Very comfortable and extremely soft. Would like to see in many more colors. What would make these any better? A rouched rear style.
Cozy shorties
October 11, 2012
I wear these to sleep and just love their softness and the little bit of warmth they provide. They have pilled a bit after a few washes thus the sub-5 star rating for quality. That may be a bit unfair though as, after all, they are wool. I like the medium for me even though I'm a pretty true 4/small in bottoms as I don't like my bottoms too snug. Overall, a purchase I will never regret.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of usei love these!

i am ordering 2 more, i love them so much! super comfy. i am an xs/sm (100 pounds, 5'4"), but found in comparison that i much prefer the medium in these boy shorts. i have size small in other colors of the same style, but the medium offers a nice, relaxed feel. :-)
Wool underwear?
December 14, 2012
Who would have thought that wool would make such comfortable, stretchy underwear. I've been a huge fan of the (discontinued) SmartWool boyshorts and found these as a replacement. They are a bit shorter in the inseam and about double the thickness in fabric but still so much nicer than cotton.
Pros: comfortable!, Cons: CostLovely undies
February 02, 2012
I have purchased a slew of wool clothing this year, Ibex brand especially because it's just warmer and I live in Chicago. These undies are the bomb! They fit like a dream with no binding or chafing. They don't show under any of my leggings or knit pants and somehow they make me look a little curvier--nice not to have that bikini line! Would love to stock up on these--could definitely wear them in Spring and Fall as well...probably not the hottest summer days, though. One tip--do not put ion the dryer, just line dry.
Pros: Lasts forever, all weather wearThese stay in place perfectly

these are the best boy shorts I've owned--the wool is the perfect "second skin" feel (hardly notice the lightweight, flexible, but secure feel). And the legs don't ride up even after yoga or 6 mile runs!
heavier than expected but great
March 22, 2012
I would have ordered XL if it existed and was a bit concerned at how small they looked upon arrival. I was also surprised at the heavier weight of these compared to other wool undies I have. Neither of these first-glance issues adversely affected performance in the field for me. I did not get chafed in these undies and they were very comfortable despite their heft and smaller than ideal size for me. I am totally sold on wool for wicking since I am just too sweaty for the synthetic technical fabrics. After trying these, I am now also sold on the boy-short style for backpacking. I wore them for days on my first "extended" trip of more than a weekend while backpacking. We were in the Ouachita National Forest during unusual spring heat - up to 80 degrees F. When I did switch to other travel undies, I chafed that day. While I can't really comment on durability over many washings, I rated excellent because they seem very well constructed and stood up to my harsh on clothing self.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceGreat underwear for any sport

I LOVED these! Soft, comfortable and cute. I have used them for running, spinning and snowboarding. Great for each. They breath and dry quickly also. Just a bit more than i'd like to spend on underwear!

fun short!
October 17, 2009
Ibex Boy Short is very cute, soft & comfy. I've worn it under pants & skirts & with a t-shirt around house. It takes a little longer to air dry on the clothesline but that is not much of an issue. It just feels fun and playful to wear - perhaps because they are the color red. As for size I wear medium in other undies and the mediums fit great in Ibex Boy Short. Yet with all other Ibex clothing I mostly wear a small.
Wool boy shorts conquer deep woods hike!
July 27, 2012
These were the most comfortable, durable pair of underwear I've ever worn on a two-day hike. My only regret was not having 2 pairs, it was a disappointment to change into clean underwear after hiking for 12 hours in the deep Maine woods. Washed well, returned to original *just from the package* shape after machine washing, flattering fit and the best part: No FUNK!!! They are worth every penny, I look forward to many more extreme adventures in these undies.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useI'll buy more

I like these well enough to get more. The material is softer than other brands.

Finally, the perfect wool underwear!
April 15, 2010
I've been searching for a while and have found some great wool underwear, but these are by far the best. The seamless weave of the wool at the waist band and the different textured weaves at the rear and sides make these some of the best designed underwear as well. The shorts are a great weight and style for wearing under skirts as well. i could also see wearing them alone for yoga. They feel very supportive and, I'm embarrassed to admit, can be worn for multiple days in a row without smelling.
keeping warm

I was looking for warm underwear for layering during xc skiing and downhill skiing. I wanted wool underwear and was pleased to see that Ibex offered this item.
