love but long
July 19, 2011
I need a new hiking tshirt. And I am tired of how my polyester running shirts all stink. So I decided to try wool and this was my first one. I got "galaxy" and the colours are vibrant, true to the picture. The shirt is beautiful and the quality is good. Sleeves might be a touch short for some hiking trips (nasty backpack straps) but are fine for other activities. At first I thought this shirt was waaaaay too long. (It is, and I am 5'4" short waisted 32C trying a size small.) I think I will go with size xs next time. But I wore it around and fell in love with it so it's a keeper, even if not quite perfect. It is not fitted, hangs looses from the bust down, but again the cute styling makes up for the blah fit.

I love this shirt, but gave it 4 out of 5 stars, because I prefer a more capped sleeve. Otherwise, it's great; the green and grey is more beautiful in person than online--it's a brilliant green. The fit is loose, but shaped, so it looks nice, but allows a lot of air flow. I've worn many Ibex clothes over the years and the quality can't be beat. I'm 5'5'' and about 130#, and a small fits great.
