I love this skirt for many reasons. It is a perfect fit for me, which helps. I am 5'4",140 lbs and have shortish legs and this proportion works great on me. The material is wool boucle so it is matte and can be dressed up or down. I love wearing it with a tank top and flip flops, but have also worn it to work with tall leather boots and a long sleeved sweater. I was concerned that the side zip pockets would stick out and was amazed to find they are very subtle. The brown "bittersweet" is a darker brown that was pictured, but I like it better that way. It is pricey, but worth it.

I LOVE this skirt. It's incredibly comfortable, but it's also warm. Perfect in this winter weather. BUT: buy a size that's a bit snug when you first put it on. It's mostly wool and it will "give" as the day wears on. So aim for snug at the outset. I'm 5'10" and 170 and I got the medium. Perfect fit.

I am often hard to fit. I generally need a 0, and the xs fit perfect. Now I just need to buy it in black and any other colors available. Very pleased wth the length. Love the feel of the fabric. This will keep me warm in cool days. It will be my 'go to' skirt this fall and winter. I plan to dress it up and wear to the office. It looks great with leggings and boots. It also looks good with clogs.

This is the most beautiful skirt i own - and I wear it to work, and hiking in the woods. It can take a lot of abuse, and still wash beautifully. I have an XS (5'7", 120lbs), and wish it came in xxs. My American Apparel skirts (size medium) are tighter than the XS Izzi (yes, AA can be skimpy ;).

I love the feel and merino wool content of this skirt, as well as the fact that it is machine washable. It has some stretch, so it is really comfortable, and cozy with tights. I am 5' 6" tall and 128 pounds, and the small fits well. If I could change anything, it would be the length-it falls just above my knee, and I think two inches shorter would be "cuter". I will wear this skirt multiple times per week in Colorado-for work and casual events. This is a fabulous basic skirt, really comfy, but it may not draw compliments or attention to itself.

I love Ibex products. I wear only natural fibers and it is great to have a nice, athletic wool skirt I can wear over leggings, over tights or bare legged as the weather gets warmer. It is a beautiful blue, black color and it is a nice weight. I feel it could be casual or a little dressy depending on how you wear it.

Perfect all 'round cool weather skirt

I love this skirt! Outstanding quality and materials (which I have come to expect from Ibex), very flattering design and fit, versatile, and comfy in every way. It's perfect! It fits well with the "sporty elegant" style that defines me. I can wear it to work or for more casual occasions, preferring to wear it with tights and boots or clogs. I got basic black which contributes to its versatility and elegance. It actually looks much better than the photos reveal. I had tried on this skirt once in a store a while ago and have been lusting for it ever since--was thrilled to find it on sale at Altrec. Thank you Altrec! (I also received it within 2 days--amazing). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I expect to get a decade or two of use out of this skirt--it's now one of my most basic and essential wardrobe items.

The Izzi skirt is one that you can use for just about anything - dress it up or down for most occasions. I am 5'5" and 115 and the XS fits great, even with tights. The only drawback is having a white puppy - the skirt will pick up puppy hair and lint. It's warm but not itchy. Would consider other colors!

I liked this skirt so well I bought a second one. Since you know how expensive Ibex clothing is that tells you a lot. I like the cut of this skirt and the fact that it has two zip pockets. The zipping pockets make it an especially practical choice for traveling as I can carry my ID and boarding pass in one pocket and my phone in the other. Smart. I am wearing the Izzy skirt pared with black Ibex long johns, or whatever they call them, and my tall Uggs pretty much daily. Very comfortable, warm and stylish. The one issue I am having is that I periodically have to reach around to the back of the skirt to feel where the tag is in order to be sure the skirt is aligned properly. There are four seams in this skirt. This means that it fits and looks great, but its not as simple to line up as one with only two seams. Minor irritation though and certainly not enough to discourage me.

I have been a big fun of merino wool but this is the first time to try Ibex product.So far I am extremely satisfied this skirt and will see how it is after washing.

Just received my Ibex Izzy skirt. It is even better than I expected it to be. Thicker material, with nice texture, almost like a bouclé fabric. Great drape, great weight, great fit (M is perfect for me at 5'6"- 135lbs), I love the pockets, it is even flattering for being as thick as it is. I am a summer girl but I must say that I am looking forward to the cold days so I can wear it with thick colored tight and boots. My only disappointment is with the color: I ordered Bittersweet based on my Live Chat conversation where I asked the operator to tell me if Bittersweet was grey (like it looks on the monitor) or brown, as bittersweet should be (the dictionary's definition is actually dark to deep reddish orange). The operator assured me it was brown and, still based on the photo, I assumed it would then be a dark earthy brown. But it is really a charcoal grey. Or a faded black. It is a neutral color that will go with everything, and since I like the skirt so much I'm keeping it but it is not the great brown wool skirt I've been looking for...

this skirt is super soft & super comfy. stretchy and a-line enough that it is comfortable for wearing on my (road) bike but also reasonably stylish -- i wear it with tights & boots -- that i can definitely get by for a night out. zipped pocket is great.

Skirt is thick wool. Nice wide waistband that is not restrictive. No muffin top! Hits below my knee I am 5'7. Pockets do not add width to hip area. Was on the fence about returning it (due to length), and decided to keep it. Felt like it ran a bit big. Flattering for my derrière.

This skirt is so fabulous with tights and boots! Super comfortable, nice knee length. The Medium fits perfect and I am 5'4", 145 pounds. Washable fabric, super soft with a nice moveable stretch!

Best all-around fall skirt

I have worn this skirt through a winter, a chilly spring, and now it's back on this fall. It's the best warm/dressy skirt I own. It has proven itself durable and fashionable, as I have biked all over in it with no damage or visible wear to the material. It is very comfortable - I have wider hips and a smaller waist, and it sits perfectly without being too tight in the rear, is loose/stretchy enough to ride a bike, and hangs trim enough to look professional. I'm definitely getting a second one this season. Thanks Ibex!

I was looking for a skirt I could bum around in and wear to work. I think I'll be able to wear this in every season. It fits great, is super comfy and is flattering and cute. I am planning on ordering it in another color too.
