My first shak and I love it! Have worn and washed a dozen times and its holding up. No pilling at all. Great for adding over a performance shirt and under a softshell jacket. Use mine mostly for winter running and xc skiing but also can be worn casually with jeans. I am 5'5", 116lbs, 34C and the small fits perfectly.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: Cost

I have been wearing this Shak Classic Full Zip jacket almost daily since it arrived. I really appreciate it's versatility- warm enough by itself for Fall and Spring, but sleek enough to layer comfortably under a shell for added wind and rain protection. I know I will also enjoy it during Pacific Northwest Summer evenings and air conditioned buildings. I am 5'9" 152 lbs and normally wear a small or medium in Ibex. The Classic Shak is more form fitting and I find the medium is a perfect fit. The torso and sleeves are long enough. The front pocket zipper makes this one sporty looking and the fit is very flattering. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the jacket and the density of the fabric will hold up well on hikes. Finally, I purchased the Snow color and am really glad I did. It fits the bill for a neutral lighter color - more of a light silver than white. I highly recommend this jacket and plan to add another color in the Fall.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use
Shak's are Awesome

I was so excited to find the Shak Full Zip Classic top on sale at Altrec. I love this top for a variety of reasons, but have always had to pay full price from Ibex. Plus it was in a color that I wanted! The top is super warm and is the perfect choice almost year round for those who live in the Northwest. It keeps you dry and toasty, without having to wear bulky fleece, and is a great first layer or as a light weight second layer in the summer. All of the acolades said about wool apply to the Shak and I hope that Altrec continues to sell them.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

I own three of these Shak Full Zip tops and they are super comfortable and versatile. They are sporty looking, but presentable enough to wear almost anywhere. I wear mine to horseback ride and also just to kick around town. The knit is just the right density for warmth and comfort.
