What's not to love?
February 21, 2011
Ibex stuff wears well. I have a couple of these from years ago and they come out of the washer looking like new. Note, that they do stretch after a couple of wears so order on the small side.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performanceperfect base layer

Bought these in 3 colors. Light but warm -- perfect base layer either for sports (skiing, walking/running, biking, skating) or under dress clothes. Snug fit (in a good way); washes well in cold water. Nearly as light as silk, but warmer.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, PerformanceIbex Rocks!

Ibex is the best of the wool products out there! Super light weight yet extra warm. I LOVE it and plan on replacing ALL my winter layers with wool. Woolies have a "slim" fit. I wear either a small or medium depending on if I want is as a 1st or 2nd layer. I'm 5'8" and 125... Can't wait fo more! NOw that the weather is cold, I'm wearing a layer of Ibex every day.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuelove my woolies

I'm a huge fan of Icebreaker, Mountain Hardwear, and now Ibex, for their extremely comfy Woolies crew. I bought a green one last year, loved it so much, that I thought I should hurry (in the case that they are discontinued) and buy 2 more this year in purple and blue. On these Winter days in SW VA, this So CA girl is warm and happy. The material is stretchy, soft and not at all itchy like other wool products. I love my Woolies and plan to order the bottoms, too, for myself and a Woolies crew for men for my husband. I'm a 110 lb at 5'3", and I chose the medium because I like my shirts long. Could have gone with a small. I figure they are true to size. You will not be disappointed with your Ibex purchase.
Great baselayer

Fits close to body which I like for my baselayers. Would say this is really a baselayer that maybe you could wear alone but the ribbed fabric and cuffs on the sleeve give it more of a long underwear look where as the Icebreaker body fit looks better alone. Love the fabric.
Pros: Build quality, Performancegreat product

I bought the woolies for my daughter-in-law who lives where the weather is very cold. She rides her bike to work/ She loves the long underwear.

I love this shirt. I have to wear a natural fibered garment under my flightsuit. This crew is soft and very light weight but I have been very warm in it when I have been out in the cold during my shift. It washes easily and I have air dried it. It has kept its shape with no shrinkage. I also have the leggings which are equally as comfortable and warm.

I bought the ibex woolies top and bottom for my daughter in Chicago last year and she asked for another set this year. They are comfortable, light, not bulky, and you don't over-heat. I also own a set and swear by them.
love this top

This is the best base layer. It is so thin and so warm and very soft and comfortable. I like that I can be warm without a lot of bulk. It works great for running/ xc skiing in the winter.
Pros: Great design, Ease of useSo soft!

I tried this on straight out of the bag, and was immediately struck by how soft it was! No itching (which was more than I could say about the patagonia wool I ordered at the same time). The sizing was a little smaller than I had expected, however, so if you're borderline, go with the next size up. This was definitely a good purchase... I just wish there were more colors on sale!
