This brand was a wonderful discovery. I had a different shirt that was wool blend, so I started looking around. I bought an Icebreaker from Altrec; it's a nice shirt, but then I found Ibex and fell in love. The top is soft, light and warm and its well made. The seams are smooth and the zipper placket is done well--I haven't had any irritation to my neck by the top of the zipper. The deep sky blue was more turquoise that I expected, but its a great color and I like it a lot. Ibex used matching thread for the topstitching instead of a contrasting color, so the top looks more polished and doesn't scream "workout gear." I'm 5"2" and 100 lbs, so I bought the extra small and it's perfect. The fit is close but not skin-tight, the shirt stops just below my hip bones instead of clear to the bottom of my bottom, and the sleeves are just past my wrists instead of being knuckle-draggers. I don't like being cold, so I really like my Ibex. I'm so impressed with the quality, comfort and warmth that I've already bought more Ibex. It's pricey, but I'm worth it!

I am a huge Ibex fan because I love the fine merino wool feel and quality. I use the Zepher during the Spring and Fall when the temp drops as a second layer for insulation. It can even be used on a chilly summer evening. It washes and wears like iron .. just lay flat after the wash cycle or spin dry for a Very short amt. of time. I'm 5'2 125 lbs and wear a medium since my shoulders and back are broad. I admit to owning 4 since they are incredible. This piece can be dressed up .. or down for casual use .. but beware, you won't just settle for owning just one ! Go for it ..

I love my zephers. They are warm and comfy, and just the right weight. The zepher is nice since its can be dressed up or down. I can wear it under a suit for a professional look, with leather pants to go out, skiing, biking, or just relaxing. Wool is great since it breathes well and doesn't retain odors. I have owned a variety of wool pieces, and ibex stuff really lasts. I have smartwool and icebreaker that have pilled and developed holes, but this has not happened to any of my ibex pieces. I highly recommend this shirt.

I love the Ibex Zepher Zip T. It works great as a light weight sweater or perfect for layering. Nice fit, super soft.

I am an Icebreaker fan, but I bought this one when it was on sale to try it. It is thinner than the regular winter Icebreaker (260) and maybe a little more see-through. It seems to itch a little. Otherwise, I took it on a trip to Peru and wore it for a week - there was no smell and I was able to even go to a restaurant with it on the last night. I do recommend it!
