Icebreaker Glove Liner 260
December 23, 2011

These are great glove liner made out of merino wool. Keeps my hands dry and warm. The large size fits perfect for my hands. They are nice and soft feeling. Wearing them makes putting on my outter-gloves real easy. My hands just slip right in and out of the glove. I can't wait for some real cold weather, so I can enjoy the outdoors this winter. I am looking forward to the merino wool keeping my hands dry - which should keep them warm!!

Must have for the cold!
December 23, 2012

Bought them for the wife who has really poor tolerance for cold. Kept her hands really nice and warm, without the need for a shell. (Temperatures averaging 0-9 degrees celsius where we went). This allowed her to use our camera, yet stay warm and comfortable. Texture was nice and soft, making them comfortable to wear for long periods.

great for liners or standalone use
December 29, 2012

These are well made wool gloves good for liners of ski gloves or for casual use. I ordered small (I usually wear small or med) and I found finger lengths are a little short but I decided to keep them. They are not bulky and easy to use.

Excellent Liners and great for cool days
January 20, 2013

Firstly, these gloves don't necessarily have the white logo. The ones that I received had a black logo that was difficult to see. No big deal. But if you are logo conscious, just be aware that the person next to you may not immediately recognize these as Icebreaker. Nevertheless, the 260 weight is a great balance of simple warmth and close fit for lining your gloves. Works great under ski gloves without bunching or pull. These would be great under ski gloves but if you are putting them under a tighter fitting outer gloves (such as a windproof running glove), these may be a tight fit. Fit is true to size and there is only minor shrinkage if you put them though the dryer. We're too lazy to hang dry our merino items and have had no issues over the years. Also, great alone, as long as you don't need to break the wind on the colder of days. Can be used as a light duty running gloves, but there is no wind resistance at all--and you wouldn't want such a barrier for a liner glove so that it can breath when under other gloves. The 260 weight and material are comfortable. However, as with all merino, you can avoid the stinkyness because of the wool. But, unlike most synthetics, merino is not as durable when worn for abrasion or being washed over and over again. So these will wear out eventually if you sweat/wash them frequently. Not unlike most merino shirts. Great for what they are.

Pros: Ease of use
