Have used this brand for past couple years--great product and fits very well. Ultra quick-drying. Only criticism (minor) is that I wish they lasted a bit before getting small holes near waistband.

Greatest Undies Ever
January 26, 2011

I have owned six pairs of these over the course of the last two years. They are my preferred everyday brief. I have tried a number of the other merino wool brief/boxer briefs and they really don't compare with these. I find that when I wear them I perspire significantly less. Even after three days of summer electrical work they remained odor free. I find that they will sometimes ride up in the back. Their durability is not what I would hope for. I may just be an optimist. I have gotten about one year out of each pair before they get holes in them. Each pair is worn once-twice a week year round. The do lack the support to be playing a basketball game. They are fine for daily work, bike riding, rock climbing, caving, etc. All that being said I hate wearing anything else. 5'11" 170 Wearing a Large Beast

A wool convert
April 30, 2012

I recently switched to wool products about a month and a half ago, and I'm impressed so far with Icebreaker and its products. The feel of the fabric is fantastic. Very comfortable and light. I was looking for something breathable and moisture wicking, lighter than cotton, but doesn't stink like polyester. The briefs do all of the above! I find that the Men's Brief is cut very slightly larger than the Anatomica brief, so I prefer the briefs. It should be noted that both style of briefs are cut fairly small, so if you're modest about yourself, be forewarned. I use the briefs for running, and feel well supported. And as for odor resistance, I couldn't be happier. There is no comparison between polyester and wool. If odor is a concern for you, I highly recommend you switch to wool. You, and the people around you, will be grateful. I am interested in seeing how durable the briefs are. So far so good, but as with the higher cost of wool, I hope they are as long lasting as they are comfortable. For your reference, I am 6 foot, 180 pounds with an athletic build. I wear mediums, and they are snug all around, but not too small for my preference.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: Cost
