Awesome Jacket
February 22, 2013

Bought this for my husband, he loves it. Had other Icebreaker products, they are wonderful. He is 6'2", about 235. Usually wears an XL, but always size up with icebreaker, so got the XXL. Fits perfect.

Solid Hoody
March 28, 2013

I like this jacket a lot. As with most Icebreaker stuff the quality is top notch and I expect it to last a long time. I'm usually a large in most things but had to go up to an XL here because it was too tight around the shoulders (6'1", 190, athletic build). It's probably designed to be that way but i found that it limited my mobility (use it for crossfit warm up during the winters). Another thing that's nice is it doesn't pick up lint, pet hair etc like I thought it would. I got it in black and when i first got it I thought everything would stick to it like a wool sweater but most of that shakes off pretty easily. I should also mention that it doesn't stop wind too well. Had to drop a star because of the price. I picked it up at a substantial discount during an Altrec daily deal. I wouldn't pay msrp for it, but I never do :)

Amazing Fleece!!
October 28, 2013

I read about this merino wool fleece in Men's Health magazine as a must have purchase. I scoured the internet and found out that Altrec had the best prices hands down!! The shipping was much faster than I expected. Once I tried on the fleece, I was in awe! The weight and feel are simply incredible. It is warm enough and self-regulating that you can wear indoors if you lived in England. It doesn't offer much wind-resistance, but using a base layer or thin windbreaker would be enough for biking in cool to cold weather. I haven't had the opportunity to see how the nanotechnology works in light rain/sprinkles, but honestly that isn't even an issue for me. I'm 6' and 175 lbs. Slim with a 41" chest and the medium fits me perfectly. The sleeves are long and work perfectly when cycling. I think that if I use it with a light to medium base layer it would be all I would need on a 40F day! So far this is my favorite winter piece in my wardrobe. Stylish and form fitting!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, stylish!

Best hoodie EVER
February 05, 2013

Incredible mid-layer or top layer if weather is reasonable! Gets softer with washing. My wife and I both have them, and use them for mid-layer for backcountry skiing. Awesome... warm, but not too warm. Great for skiing, or town. We are Icebreaker fans! If in between sizes, go with the larger.

Fits snug but sleeves are a little long so I could not order up a size. Quality and construction are great, like all Icebreaker products I have purchased.
