Great running/winter activity pants

Icebreaker is one of the best brands I have come across. These pants are great for running and any outdoor winter activity. They fit true to size in the waist, the rise is alittle long and the length is alittle long but everybody has a different body. The ankle zippers could be off set from the heel though. These pants are a must have in your winter attire.

I own about a dozen pieces of Icebreaker apparel, and these Tracer pants, like everything else from Icebreaker, are excellent. The material is thinner than I expected, but sufficiently warm for my winter runs here in Northwest Ohio. The quality merino wool is absolutely no-itch and with plenty of stretch to allow full freedom of movement. I'm 5-11 and 170 lbs and the large fits well. I prefer my running pants to be more on the loose side and these provide plenty of room. I believe I could have gotten a medium instead and they would have fit as well. I bought the large to be able to wear a base layer tight underneath in extremely cold conditions. I love the front zippered pockets to stash a key or other items for the run. So glad Icebreaker came out with a run-specific pant for my winter runs ... and glad for Altrec's commitment to quality gear.
