The icebreaker hat is very warm and fits very well. The mogul hat is very soft and the merino wool is not at all itchy. Highly recommended for North East cold weather.

I ordered this for cool evenings. It is lightweight and warm. If you are looking for something for very cold days, it might not be warm enough. It's perfect what I need.

This Hat was a great purchases. Although the price seems a little high for a beanie its worth the money. This Ice breaker hat fits perfectly and is very warm. I also like that that has some style to it. This is perfect wool hat to have.

Like every piece of icebreaker I own....this one is a winner. This hat's weight to warmth ratio is excellent. Not itchy (at all), super soft, comfortable....and it doesn't smell up after sweating in it. Tell me....does your poly/acrylic hat do that? I would have an entire wardrobe of wool if I could afford it....it just can't be beat. Period.

My icebreaker mogul is the best beanie I have ever worn. The double layer merino wool makes it soo warm and comfortable. The hat is large enough to warm my ears, yet fits very nicely so I don't look like I am wearing a "dunce" cap. I love Icebreaker!

The color of this beanie is amazing! Super comfortable, skull fitting, warm, exclnt quality. I would recommend it for both outdoor adventure and total head turning fashion statement.

Typical great icebreaker quality, warm and comfortable as advertised. The perfect winter hat. I have a small head and worry about excess hat on top that looks bad, no such problem with this beanie.

Warm and stylish, this hat is the best one I've ever had. It's got a lining so it's a little thicker than single layer. It's all merino wool -- no acrylic. Great for those -10 degree days here in Chicago.

I have no problem with merino, except, seemingly on just my forehead. I got an arc'teryx merino beanie at the same time, and it doesn't itch like this one does. The Arc'teryx merino is beanie is much thinner, so that might be the culprit... not sure. Well constructed, and the 260 liner doesn't match up inside PERFECTLY, but comes pretty close. You don't notice the seams while wearing it. Warm. Not windproof, fits tightly, and feels good. It's not reversible. Nice hat, and maybe look elsewhere for sensitive foreheads.

This warm hat is not quite what I expected.

Although I like this hat, I had thought that it would cover my ears. Although it does initially, it soon rides up. Also, because it is thin, I had intended to wear it under a helmet, but it is too bulky for that. Otherwise, this is a warm, attractive hat.
