This is the perfect winter layering piece! It is practically weightless, and the slim fit does not add bulk under winter jackets and vests. The hood provides additional warmth when needed, and the zip pockets provide handy, secure storage. It's easy to get in and out of as your layering needs change throughout the day, and it's cute enough to wear to the lodge or pub when you're ready to come in. I ordered several merino hoodies from smartwool, patagonia, and ibex. I returned them all and ordered three of these instead.
