Not the wool of the past, the fine fiber and itchless merino wool insulates when wet, is odor-free (unlike synthetics), is incredibly breathable, and offers excellent warmth at half the bulk. This is a great shirt. It's lightweight but warm and stylish. I love that it looks just as nice zipped up like a turtleneck and unzipped like a polo top. It doesn't look like performance gear so I wear it for a power walk and then can head out to lunch without looking (or feeling) grimy. I found it to be not as fitted as the picture (I usually wear a small or medium and I ordered a medium) so you can layer.

This top fits really nicely. It is good as a top on its own or a base layer. Like the natural fibres and is easycare - just put in the washing machine normal cycle and it is dry overnight. Also good for travelling, just roll up and throw in your bag.

Womens bodyfit 260 fits me well. It's medium weight, light and odour free for travel - to antarctic or the polar region. Great product, I'll for sure buy icebreaker products again.

Icebreaker has become my favorite line for winter wool layers! I own a few. This one in particular works great on the slopes (has a fantastic, hight, soft turtle neck!); on the trail for spring running (the thumbholes are useful to warm up your hands when it is a bit too warm for gloves); and on the street (stylish, fitted sweater). Highly recommended!

I have a bit of an addiction to Icebreaker and this is my favorite style. It fits me perfectly and is a good all around weight. I found the Altitude zip to be too tight in the ribs (my narrowest part!) and the Olympia zip just slightly shorter in the arms with a looser neck. Everything positive everyone else says is true- really comfortable, doesn't hold odors, maintains color... I do find it dries a bit slowly on those days when you sweat profusely or when a pack is creating extra moisture.

Fits perfectly. Not itchy. Keeps me very warm when I need to be and fabric breathes when necessary. The bonus for me is wool does not smell like other fabrics when used for athletic endeavors. I would definatly buy this product or from icebreaker again.

I have worn merino wool backpacking for 2 weeks at a time and there isn't anything that works like this. I'm warmed at night,dip my top in the water to cool in the daytime, AND smell like a baby sheep. Wears forever

I am slowly but surely converting all of my active gear to merino wool garments -- and 95% of them will be from Icebreaker. They have the perfect balance of form, function, and style. I have everything from their baselayer camis (love these for summer!) & legless bottoms to their mid-layer (Tornado & Coronet) styles and I LOVE them all. I never thought I could wear something twice in a row that I'd do an 8mi. hike in, but that's the secret beauty of WOOL! And yes, believe us that it's not scratchy or stinky. They actually say "NO STINK" on their pkg. Awesome!
