I am a size 38 (slender feet) for shoes and I bought two pairs of the size S. They fit me snuggly. The socks are great for everyday comfort. I like the soft feel of the merino wool against my feet as I walk. Even with temperatures over 79 degrees Fahrenheit, and I was wearing the same pair of Think! ankle boots that I wear in the freezing winter, my feet actually feel cool and not hot or sweaty. I was amazed. I will buy more of these socks especially when they are on special.

As with the other Icebreaker products this sock is made with very good fabric and fits well. I have narrow feet and this sock isn't too baggy. Sadly, the sewing/constuction around the heel area is not smooth. There is a seam which causes an extra bit of material that irritates my foot when it folds over as I walk. The wool is very comfortable, not itchy and a very nice pattern.

I was hesitant about buying these socks because I cannot wear wool at all (I dont have any wool allergies, just have sensitive skin). But, I had heard so many good things about this brand that I decided to give them a try. They really are very soft and not itchy at all. I'd definitely recommend that you give them a try if you also have a problem wearing wool.

Thought I was ordering SmartWool and these crept into my product choices, but I'm not disappointed. They are comfortable and warm without being bulky. I thought they would be shorter, though. Hope they will last as long as SmartWool socks.

These are great socks. They are comfy for everyday use without being itchy or too warm. I wear a 7.5 size shoe, and based on other reviews of the socks running a little on the large size, I ordered a small. They fit perfectly, but there is definitely no room for any shrinkage with the small. I better make sure I always air dry these!

Will be buying more!

I'm going to Ireland in March/April and was worried about socks that would keep me warm and dry - and could be worn multiple times without laundering. These socks do all I need, so much so that I'm going to order several more pair before leaving. I am normally a size 8.5 and I ordered a size s/m for the sock based on other reviews, and it was a perfect fit.

I got a pair of these in each color and really like them. They're a bit taller than I expected, but as I like tall socks that was a plus. Great Icebreakers quality. Quite thin, fit well under most shoes.

I LOVE these socks! Perfect for everyday wear. The arch & achilles support is super -part of what makes them so comfortable. The material is fabulous- For me, Icebreaker is the only brand of merino wool I can wear without being itchy & these are actually soft! There's no other material that compares when it comes to temperature regulating, moisture wicking, and odor control. The only downside is the price, but they are worth every penny. Also note that they do run a little big- I wear an 8.5 shoe, but the medium(according to Icebreaker sizing fits 7.5-9) was too big, but the small(sizes 5.5-7) fit me perfectly. I think that Icebreaker smalls fit sizes 6-8.5 & med sizes 9-10.

Icebreaker's ultralite line is fabulous! I love these 3/4 crew socks for every day wear. The arch and Achilles support feel like warm hugs on your feet without feeling squeezed.
